Good clean cut. Sharp. Works well. Took awhile to saw through a chunk of jade i got in british columbia, but it did the job

Not great, but useful enough if it's the only tool type that will work
This is pretty light duty. It does work, but not without a lot of effort. The wire is not coated evenly and does flake off. These are pretty standard issues for this tool type. I was able to get my project done, but not easily. Unless this is the only tool you can fit in a space, try something else.

Works great on counter top seam
Purchased to separated a stone countertop at the seam. After “ starting the seam with a razor saw, this worked well to continue with with clean separation and no chipping/ flaking. Allowed enough separation to get an oscillating saw blade in to finish the jobUsed 2 small surgical clamps to hold the ends of the wire, The coping saw was too small so just used the wire alone.Picture with razor saw and wire on a surgical clamp

Impressively durable
I can only compare to some 1mm diamond wire I bought which was made by another manufacturer. On the 1mm wire, the diamond abrasive layer would strip off of the wire after very little cutting, leaving the length of wire basically useless. So far, I have yet to see any of the diamond come off of this 0.6 mm Subrilli wire. I was also worried with such a thin guage that the wire would break easily. However, so far, cutting 2mm thick brass for several hours, I have only broken one length of this 0.6mm superfine Subrilli diamond cutting wire.

Easily cuts thru stainless pipe / amazing
Laying on my back, with two small vice grips clamped to this wire, i could cut off 3” OD stainless steel exhaust pipe in about 1/2 hour...took a few breaks however.Works better with a cutting fluid like Pro TapI made a clamp on guide from a split half collar to make a straight cutUpdate: ive now used 4 packages of this to cut off 4 pcs of SS exhaust pipe, under my car. It cuts very well but if used too vigorously the wire heats so hot the wire stretches and breaks . So, order a few packs, and finish the job.....a bit of work, but there is no other way you can cut off SS exhaust pipe in place.Really amazing
