Here is a quick summary of some of the key nutrients in each daily serving of 4 capsules (3 grams):-70%-75% protein by weight. I can say with certainty it is raw. There is positively no point in cooking it first, no value whatsoever, and that would be a very expensisve process. (Beef jerky is always raw before it is dried; again - no point in cooking it first. )
