ZLINE24" Built-in Convection Microwave Oven in Stainless Steel with Speed and Sensor Cooking

Looks and functions really well. I like the convection and microwave combo. Sensor heat works well and fits a 16" pizza. Inside doesn't fit a large cookie sheet but it's a smaller wall unit and I have other sheets I can use.

After reviewing many models and needing to replace my older conventional microwave I found this one as the best replacement. Installation was easy but had to add some side molding since it is narrower than prior microwave. Operates well, love the features and functionality with the exception of the display. Being builtin under the counter makes the display hard to see, especially the numeric part. Also would prefer the clock stay visible instead of timing out. We are getting familiar with where the touch pads are but still would have preferred a back lit panel when first touching screen. Interior is stainless steel and easy to clean, but need to be aware of heating coils on the bottom and not damage them while cleaning. No cleaning chemicals, use a damp rag. Still, this is a top of the line excellent product that I highly recommend.

It’s a great microwave/oven and I am still figuring out its features. It has an overwhelming amount of features and has been great so far. We have been using it for a few months now and I am most grateful for the locking feature. Our unit sits right under the countertop and we would accidentally touch buttons when leaning against the counter. The locking feature has saved us from running an empty microwave.

The wheels on the rotating tray inside the microwave spark and catch on fire. (I have seen flames!) Melting of part of the tray near wheels has occurred. I cleaned it thoroughly and it is still sparking. I will contact zline today.

There are not many Convection/Microwave combo 24" wall ovens on the market and I purchased this one to replace a failed GE Profile combo oven. My main problem with this oven is it is designed to be a built in but for a 24" enclosure. If you have an existing double oven wall unit is is probably either 27" or 30" oven enclosures. Most manufactures offer a trim kit to solve this problem but zline does not . I had to purchase Stainless Steel stick on strips and cut them to fit the openings (not easy to do without proper tools) .For convection cooking we really like this oven. it is slightly larger than most combo ovens. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly.The Microwave offers a variety of auto cook/re-heat/defrost functions. However, when it comes to auto defrost it does not offer a generic defrost by weight setting. We have to manually set the power to 30% and guess the timing. Maybe we will get better with practice ;-) Also be warned that the food ready chime is barely audible so unless you are right next to the oven you will not hear it.ProsBest price for combo ovens this sizeLarger cooking space than most 24" combo ovensexcellent reheat functionsgood variety of auto cook functionsConsno trim kit! I initially chose this product because it fit the space formally held by my now broken microwave. The more I read the ZLINE's specs, the more impressed I became.It imbues high quality and seems to be living up to its appearance. I've owned it for only a few weeks, but am already pleased with my choice. Even the way it was carefully packed at the factory impressed me.I'm looking forward to many years of service from this home-grown product.

Love the microwave, love the brand, easy to install, fits perfectly in the drawer space. My only bad review is the company on Amazon that I purchased this product from. After 4 days of ordering this product while it was still in transit I found the same one for $150 cheaper on Amazon and so I reached out to the seller asking for a price reduction, they basically said I can return the product if I want and they’ll deduct restocking fees if I do. Their response was so dry and unfriendly. I would not purchase anything else from them. So many other vendors have the same product who probably would have even offered a gift card.
