Quality SS Fittings
Nice quality 304 Stainless Steel Diverter. You MUST use high-density PTFE (teflon) tape & PTFE Pipe dope/paste OR it will leak like a sieve.

DEFECTIVE! Not tapered, doesn't tighten
These don't have any taper for nipples or adapters, they just thread all the way in loosely until they bottom out. Never form a seal, never get tight. Defective design.BTW: Also they are thinner than any other fitting I have seen.

Good build quality
Well cut threads are essential on stainless fittings to prevent galling. These threads are a little rough deep in the cut, which is why I gave four instead of five stars, but no galling occurred. Otherwise, parts are very well cast and finished. Recommended with the caveat that you might have to chase your threads a wee bit with a 1/2 inch NPT tap.

well made stainless tee
It's a well machined stainless steel tee. It was tee shaped when it arrived, and it was made of stainless steel with the proper threads and well machined.

Almost Leak-Free
Could not get either of the two tees to seal leak-free with stainless fittings. Used teflon tape with paste sealant after first attempt had slow drip with tape only. Still had slow drip with tape and sealant for stainless on stainless fittings. Switched to PVC tee with stainless fittings and that was leak-free.
