4434ER0003C Rear Drum Support (Spider) by Beaquicy - Replacement for Kenmore LG Washing Machine - Flange Shaft Assembly Replaces 4434ER0003A 4434ER0003B

I would highly recommend buying this aftermarket part based on my bad experience with the OEM parts as outlined below, which caused a long delay in fixing my washing machine, which did not make anyone happy in my household.I ordered (2) OEM parts of Amazon, the second after the first came and was really a poor quality casting with multiple cracks (not just surface defects) and one flange bent. So had Amazon replace that one, and at the same time ordered one from my local appliance store. The second OEM part from Amazon and the OEM part from the local appliance store had nearly identical issues to the first, cracks and at least one bent flange, on two of the parts the bent flange was the same one that was cracked and on the third part it was a different flange than the one that had cracks in it.After all that monkey motion and a trip to the laundromat, this aftermarket part finally came (the first aftermarket part I ordered was cancelled by Amazon for some reason unknown to anyone but some Amazon computer algorithm) it was a sight for sore eyes, a very nice casting identical in geometry to the OEM part without all the defects. I'm flabbergasted that a company that is so highly rated for their products would have the gall to sell such poor quality OEM replacement parts. Obviously building a good part is possible these guys did it. The original manufacturer should throw away all the crappy OEM parts they have in stock and contract with these guys to build parts to save people the frustration I went through.A few notes on installation, I got two of the three legs pretty close to lined up with their holes by tapping with a deadblow or rubber mallet, and then gave the third leg a good whack to get it popped in. There may be a better way, but that's how I did it. Taking the old one out was no picnic, fortunately mine was so corroded it basically broke into pieces as I as trying to take it out. The third photo is of my old corroded part.

The new part is a perfect replacement for the original LG part. The photo shows the original LG part after 15 years of use. I didn’t want to be wearing the corroded aluminum 10 years from now so I painted mine with self etching prime and disc brake caliper red paint. It is honestly the best paint job I’ve ever done and now it’s hidden from view for eternity lol. Unpainted I would expect the new part to have a comparable life as the original.To recap, perfect fit!

Great quality for much cheaper than oem part cost. Nice castings and drum runs truer than oem spider mount Second time I’ve replaced this part in the 17 years I’ve owned the washer so I get about 8-9 years before they corrode and break.

Machine began smoking, indicating bearings were gone. When I got the machine apart I found that the spider was broke. I had preordered the bearings by model number, but when they came the OD was different. I had to take the number off the bearings themself to finally get the right bearings. The spider online dimensions online, said from centerline of unit to edge of spider was 9.4. My drum measured 10.5.
