Could pass for a $200 katana.
I've owned this sword for about a year and a half and I've finally gotten around to reviewing it and how well it holds up to this point. This sword was my introduction to owning a Katana and everything about it screams quality, especially for it's price. The weight is well balanced, it came razor sharp and the engravings on the tsuba aren't too shabby up close and don't feel cheap. The bottom of the saya has been dented and chipped a little but I'd say that's expected since I had it resting upright for about a year until I finally got around to getting a display stand. The sword is functional and slices through milk jugs with ease and works great for both display and slicing, thanks to it's well sharpened blade. It fits into the saya snuggly but is loose enough to quick draw easily if needed. The gold fittings look pretty and the tsukamaki(handle wrapping) has a good grip to it. Overall the sword feels great in my hands and is one of my favorites in my katana collection. Would highly recommend for new katana owners looking for a budget friendly sword, with the quality of a $200 katana!

Very nice sword. no "made in china" stamped on the side, and very sharp.

Great
Cannot find better for the prime price of 56 bucks. This is the least expensive, seemingly decent balance for the price, good looking blade, the hamon is artificial but that is obvious. The sword is gorgeous, feels very solid, and I have gotten compliments on it being my "prettiest" sword that I own, due to the white and gold theme. Might get another just to use as a beater for cutting and sharpening practice, considering the price. Would recommend. If this is your first time buying a sword, you will almost certainly have a positive experience with this for the start of your collection. Feels light compared to some of my heavier blades, but definitely not too light.

Sword is great
Sword is well made/ seems good quality, looks great, its sharp and definitely not a toy. Definitely will consider another future purchase. I just hope the next sword doesn't arrive with its shipping box and plastic cover ripped open because UPS guys wanted to play with it and ding/dent the scabbard a few times before delivery....

Beautiful katana
The media could not be loaded. This is my first katana and I have to say it feels pretty nice it has a nice weight to it and came pretty sharp and oiled, def recommended for the price. (I took off the ribbon lol it just looks nicer to me)

Great for the money
For what I paid on sale, this is a great value. The ito is loose and I'm still working to get the blade as sharp as I like. Very pleased with the other fittings aside from the tsuba which came with a bit of paint scuffed off. If you can catch it on sale it's well worth the $60.00 price range. The sageo is clearly low cost material, but if you plan to use it just buy a bit of better wrap. At this low of a cost why wouldn't you go hit stuff with it, and buy a second one if you just want a pretty one for the wall.
