Perfect Fit. No Bolt Hole Alignment Issues
Very happy with this purchase. It’s a quality item. I read other reviews claiming people were having problems with the bolt holes not lining up. I installed mine on a 2016 Lexus RX350 and the hitch lined up perfectly. The slots are elongated for some adjustment and all 6 bolts fit flawlessly. I was even able to install this hitch without lifting the vehicle or using a floor jack to hold it in place. I did it on the ground and lifted the hitch assembly up by myself getting one bolt started then another on the opposite side. Once this was done the remaining 4 bolts were secured. Heck, I’m 67 years old and if I can do it, you can too. The only tricky part in the whole process was positioning the hitch around the muffler assembly. However once you clear this, the rest is a piece of cake. Be sure you have a 6” socket extension and torque the bolts properly as listed in the instruction sheet. You’ll need a 1/2” drive ratchet to do this. Oh, the teeth on the washers go against the hitch frame.

Lexus RX350 trailer hitch OEM fit
fast delivery, good price, OEM fit , plug and play, you will have to trim some black plastic under the cartake the plastic down, install the hitch , match it up with the bottom of the car so you can see where itwill in stall an which bolts you will remove and reinstall, I did it buy my self, used a floor jack, take the bolts out set the hitch on the jack , pump it up till the jack is pressed against the area in which and holes are lined up , start each bolt by fingers , to avoid cross threading, then tighten up , I put lock tight on threads and torqued to 125 ft lb or as tight as you can, then hold the black plastic where it needs to remount and trim where it is necessary ,so it fits around the hitch , its easy, I used an oscillating cutter.AS always watch a DIY video before youbuy or install unless you are an expert and know what you are buying or how your installing, Enjoy

All holes line up perfectly.
This hitch is heavy duty and easy to install. Was able to install with just myself. Tip I read to use a rope and tie up the right side of the hitch in place above the muffler made it a one person installation. Used a 5 gallon plastic pail to hold up the left side while installing the bolts. Only adjustment to the vehicle was I needed to bend, by hand, the heat shield above the muffler a little to avoid contact with the hitch.

Easy if you watch the online Curt videos!
I bought this 13272 receiver as it was the first on the Curt website certified for the 2020 RX 350. I have an RX 450h, so I knew I might have some extra work fitting it, but I needed to tow a small trailer and didn't have time to others to be certified. It arrived with the heavy corrugated cardboard badly damaged, but the receiver is a monster so that wasn't really a problem. It did require just a dab of primer and high gloss black to touch up. The plastic cowling under the RX was a breeze to remove after watching a Curt video. The receiver was easy to install. Just pop out the thread protectors and set it in place. All the holes are slotted, but the alignment was perfect anyway. I had the receiver in place in under 15 minutes with just a flat blade screw driver and a torque socket wrench.Once it was in place, I did find the exhaust contacted the receiver every so slightly so I lower the exhaust by about 1/4" by using a simple course file and slotting the holes ever so slightly. These were also primed and painted before reassembly. The exhaust system has a flexible coupling that ensures this places no added stress on the pipes themselves. The result is that the receiver structure is invisible except for the 2" receiver opening itself. The top of that sits about 1/4" below the vehicle's plastic bumper cover; it doesn't reduce ground clearance at all. Cutting the cowling was a simple matter of measuring, marking with painter's tape, and cutting with a sharp box cutter. The box cutter did the job wonderfully; a rotary tool would have been harder. I also bought the wiring harness and rubber receiver cover. I bought my vehicle with the tow package, so installing the wire hardness was as easy as removing the RX's plug cover and snapping the harness in place, maybe 15-20 seconds if you do it slowly. I used 4 of the supplied wire ties to secure it in place. The rubber receiver cover also has a rubber cover to protect and retain the 4-pin wire harness connector: a nice touch. I elected to mount the rubber cover's hinge on the side and cut a small round opening in the undercarriage cowling for the wire to exit. In all, the job took most of a day, but most of that was paint drying. Hands on time was far less than an hour, even with filing and cutting.

a very solid hitch
This is one solid steel hitch. This is the 4th hitch that I've installed by myself and it is definitely one of the heaviest, stiffest hitches I've had. Yes there is a slight mis-alignment of the 3 holes on the passenger side, making threading the bolts on a bit difficult, but I found that chasing the threaded holes with just the bolts first helps to clear away some of the paint over spray, making the final install much easier. So even with the mis-alignment, I am able to get all 6 bolts threaded and torqued correctly. I also used the packaging box as a way to prop up one side while working on the other side.Once installed, the hitch hugs the bottom of the bumper really tightly, with the cross bar completely hidden above and behind the bumper, very neat and tidy.If not for the slight misalignment, this is certainly a 5 star item.
