It’s hard to get on the dryer and then it collapsed multiple times when using it.

While this diffuser attachment is great for travel because it collapses, making it take up less space in your suitcase, it is VERY difficult to attach to the hotel hair dryer because the opening is rather rigid, so it’s a struggle. The collapsible part of the diffuser is made of much softer, more flexible plastic (or whatever it is) which is why it can collapse for packing - but that also means it doesn’t really want to stay in the expanded, open position when you’re trying to use it. Which isn’t great. For the price, it’s okay.•It packs easily.•It’s a struggle to attach to a hair dryer.•It sorta works.•It’s better than nothing.

I never travel without my dryer because most places don't accommodate for curly hair and it's needs.I usually pack my Dyson, but it takes up a lot of space and it's heavy. Though I would try this and took a chance that where we were going would have a dryer with a round end.It did and this fit perfect and stayed on.I saw a few people complain that it would collapse. It did a couple of times on one side at one crease, but it didn't bother me. My hair is not too heavy so it worked for me to pile my curls on the diffuser and dry them.I couldn't be happier to have an alternate to carrying my own dryer just so I can have a diffuser.

The very first time I used this product it went up in smoke and started sizzling on top of my clients head. I have never purchased anything bad from Amazon until now, and I’m having issues getting reimbursed for it completely damaging my own blow dryer.

This has a deeper bowl than it looks like so I hoped it was going to be a winner. It grips the dryer well. The problems start when I pixie diffused, the slightest pressure against my head made it start folding up. I had to use two hands to get it arranged and then be careful not to apply pressure. I can’t use pressure to push the roots for volume. I also can’t rest my arm any by letting it rest on my head.It also takes forever to dry. I don’t know how, maybe it’s because I have long, thick hair and it would work better for short hair, but using my usual hair dryer I pixie diffused and hover diffused for as long as I normally do, and my hair was still very damp. I did another 15 minutes and it was maybe 60% dry. This would take forever with a crappy hotel dryer.
