ChampionMen's Sweatpants, Fleece, Open-bottom Sweatpants for Men (Reg. Or Big & Tall)

So the Amazon thing told me XL would fit me best. I read all the reviews and decided that’s what I should get, but they were way too big on me. I’m about 6’1” maybe a little more, last I checked 215lbs., probably more now, but on the slender side. The XL were quite long, but they were too big around my waist too. I would have needed to tie the ties every time I wore them. Who wants to do extra work with sweatpants, right? lol. So I’m returning them for a large. Usually I wear somewhere between a 34-36 pants and XL Tall shirts, if that helps anyone. 36 with a belt though. Otherwise, champion sweats are always pretty well made. Kind of the standard for sweatpants for a long time.

I have purchased these many times as I had to replace everything after a house fire. While I love these most of the time, the sizes are not consistent. Some times I'll order 2 and they fit perfectly. Other times they are too small. Then another set are perfect. I always have ordered the exact same thing. But when they fit correctly, I love them more than any other pallet of sweatpants.

These sweatpants are very high quality perfect for the chilly nights and sit on the leg perfect, i would say go with your normal size because they don’t fit to big or small.

I am not sure if these are knock-offs, or if it's simply the quality of Champion is just that much different, from the last time I bought this brand. My S.O.'s old Champion sweats were finally wearing out in the knees - that's how long he wore them; at least 10 years. Even with the knees becoming threadbare, the fabric otherwise was still great. These sweats (I got 2 pairs) were cut completely off-kilter; same size, but the legs were "off", as far as matching, width, etc. Still, I thought I could make them work (they seemed fine, otherwise). I washed them before wearing, and then by the second wash, the fabric on both pairs was completely pilled. Not just "here and there"; everywhere. Really disappointing. Yeah, it's just an aesthetic thing, but the pilling is annoying. And totally not what I expected from this brand. They still function, but I guess I will have to broaden my search for future purchases.

Well-made and perfect for our needs except they are about an inch longer than we needed. We chose to keep them anyway.
