How long are the blades? I'm looking for the model with 9-inch blades.

the overall length is about 9". the metal portion is about 5". From the end to the nut holding the 2 halves together is about 4"

is there any way to sharpen these . Im on my third pair!!

Check out the Shun website, they include free sharpening of they're products BUT NOT SURE if that includes their products purchased elsewhere.

Where are these shears made?

Americas Test Kitchen May 2021 update: In our original review, we named both the Kershaw Taskmaster Shears and the Shun Multi-Purpose Shears as winners, since both are made by the parent company Kai and were identical in design and performance. We recently learned that Kai made changes to the design of the Kershaw shears, so we retested the Shun and Kershaw shears and found a few key differences between the two. The Kershaw blades have slightly less tension and shorter, shallower serrations; they’re also not as sharp as the Shun shears. As a result, we don’t recommend them as highly as the Shun shears, which remain our top pick.
