Q: What size bottle fits best in the two front pockets

I am able to fit a10 ounce flask type container in each pocket. Mine happen to be from Nathan running. Nothing much bigger would fit.

Q: If the bladder was frozen or full of icy water, would it cool the core of the body? I have MS and am looking for an inexpensive cooling vest.

No. This is a water vest, not a cooling vest. If the bladder was frozen, you may feel it for a little bit, but any activity would quickly melt the ice in the bladder.

Q: Does the pack have the two extra bottle that comes with it?

Mine did not, which is fine for me since I use the space to hold my nutrition and the 1.5L bladder carries me to the next refill station and beyond.

Q: Is this vest size XL?

Not sure I have a 46" Chest and it fits me.
