My first experience with Kava. I mixed half and did some mental math to figure out how much to try. Read about kava, traditions, effects and warnings about overconsumption. and such first. Followed the very straightforward directions. Put in fridge for a bit. Had a workout. Drank some. Felt tingly numbness in my mouth and like a muscle relief spread over my body. Unlike booze it didn’t spike my blood pressure, have after shocks in my esophagus and just a nice feeling. I don’t mind the taste. I am glad I bought it and used a kava filter. I wish I had used a kitchen scale rather than eyeballing how much to mix in. Next time.

Just wanna say this kava is great, it's not too heady like a strong fiji that feels like you took 1000 mg.of caffeine lol (not fun at all) but also not too heavy...literally perfect and too boost it has far less skin issues even with over consumption..VERY clean kava, one of the cleanest personally, a true waka, many.claim to be but you know they arent when those skin issues happen, like any kava with mixed basal root. And at $25 for 8 ounces, it's amazing....all other sellers have steadily raised prices up up and up but they haven't.....sells out quick for a reason...hate having to wait a month for restocks, only bad thing, hehe. Thanks.

I like that the grind didn't leave any larger pieces of root in there, or was just ground by machine.Not a horrible or even objectively bad taste (for kava at least).Seemed really strong right off the bat, and upon second session that suspicion was confirmed.I'm already ordering more, and that's in the face of trying all of the major brands available on Amazon, and that's compared to the fancier packed "waka grade" kavas.I've read potency can change between batches, so if that's the case I would leave a separate review to note such.

I don’t have a strainer so I just mix with a spoon into my chai tea. There are bits of root that I have to pick off my lips but that’s expected with no straining. The buzz is a nice calming effect and the price is the lowest on amazon. Quality seemed great. Only issue was it took 3 days to get payment processed for it to ship, but once that happened it arrived in one day. Would buy again with a strainer and pitcher.

Tastes bad like many other kavas but also has a very plastic taste. Effects are creeping and sometimes heavy but I am not sure I would buy again

Does nothing... I've had Ava from the Hawaiian big island before and it was decent so when I saw this Fiji powder I thought I would give it a try.... Numbs your lips but that's about it...no other soothing effects...I guess you get what you pay for....I stopped using it and it is just sitting in the cabinet. Will probably end up in the garbage can eventually...

This stuff is amazing. Makes my head a bit numb but I sleep like a baby and my head doesn’t wonder.
