Are these rings adjustable? Or do you have to slide on the end of the curtain rod?

These have to be put on the rod before you hang the rod on brackets. Some people sew the small part of rings onto their drapery. If you're using curtain hooks, they can slip through the smaller loop while the rings are still on the rod, up on the brackets, for cleaning or changing drapes. The ring is continuous. They are not adjustable.
