Love this thing! Bought it to add a pop of color to my art space- it does not disappoint! Colors are bright finish is a bit rough on some pieces but for the price, it's hard to beat. Don't know if it would hold up to children's play, but it works fine in my studio.

I love this so much. It’s so colorful and it’s wooden and safe for my baby. Can stack it up tall. Good quality and can’t beat the price! My ten month old loves it already ! Can’t wait for it to grow with her!

On the first day I brought these out to play, one of the arches fell off the table on the floor and broke in two pieces. We have played with the other arches many times with greater care, on the floor, and have had no additional breaks. I may upgrade to a nicer brand. This type of toy is very fun and open ended- though you may have to demonstrate other ways of using it so kids do not think its a rainbow puzzle.This review prompted me to answer about teething - i would not let a baby teeth on this as I am unsure of the finish and think the wood would easily dent.This is likely best for home use and not classroom, for long term :)

This is so, so close to exactly what I am looking for - however, the two smallest pieces are a totally different texture / finish. They are smooth and shiny unlike the rest. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months and see if production has changed.As far as the peg people, the colors don’t actually match. So those are a return for sure.

They break very easily. Not good for kids to play with and that's what they are supposed to be for. 2 different finishes or paints on the set. Thinner finish looks cheap and that is the ones that broke the within 30 minutes of play.

Have wanted one of these for quite a while but wasn’t a fan of the high price point. Was happy to find this one. All six of my kids play with this. The oldest four, ages 7-3 build incredible things with it and push themselves to balance standing creations. The youngest two enjoy knocking them down or sorting them! Incredibly versatile. As others have said it is a little rougher than I would have liked for this age but hasn’t injured anyone.

My son had stacked up the pieces to build a unique shape and it fell over. (on carpet, even!) Simply falling onto the floor caused the largest arch to break. When the toy first arrived, I was not happy to discover there are different types of paint on different pieces. The larger colors were all sort of a matte dyed wood, but the purple arches had a thick shiny coat of paint. It doesnt make sense. It's not attractive. I was willing to ignore that, just for the sake of getting right to playing, but breaking so quickly is not something I can ignore.

The media could not be loaded. These are excellent for the price. The other ones on the market that compete with Grimms are of the same quality and 3 times more expensive. I found these to be light weight but sturdy, completely saturated in vibrant stains, no chemical smell and well packaged. In love and plan to buy more sets.So glad I found this 🤓🤓🤓
