These are great…
I wanted a few flash cards, and these were great. I took Russian in college, so I wanted to another side source to brush up. Super durable, as well as the box. Very cute.

Easy to understand and carry with you.
Okay, these flash cards are great. Words and phrases, easy to read and understand. Pronunciation help on each card. All in a cute box that fits easily in a handbag, backpack, even a jacket pocket. Not an overwhelming amount of words and phrases, but enough to start you off with comprehension and communication. Recommend it wholeheartedly.

Pretty Good
Have a teen who is learning Russian. This was their favorite gift. We spent hours going through them and I noticed they are taking them back and forth to school to go over with friends. This purchase was a winner

Beginner friendly 😄
I love these flash cards! Unfortunately I know majority of these. Luckily I have a friend who is learning as well, so I’ll be giving these to him. They are definitely beginner friendly 😄I also like that the box is magnetic, so it won’t pop open and spill out 😊 HINT: For anyone who is studying Russian. Russians normally don’t send emojis, but they use parentheses. If you were asking how they are doing, add ) at the end for a smiley face, if you use ( it will be a sad face. Happy learning))

Very useful language tool
I bought these cards for my third grade son, who can read Russian and has a very basic vocabulary. My husband and I are non-native Russian speakers so we are trying our best to give him a strong base to the language and wanted to introduce him to some usual phrases for an upcoming trip. I had them in my shopping cart for some time because the price seemed a bit high but I decided to purchase them. I'm so glad I did! The cards are a beautiful black and white chalkboard style so no distracting graphics makes them very easy to read. I appreciate that the Cyrillic and English transliteration are paired; someone who can not read Cyrillic would be able to use these as well. I do find it interesting that the English transliteration marks the stress by bolding that syllable but the Cyrillic does not have stress marks, though that is typical in textbooks for Russian learners. This would be most helpful to add, in my opinion. In the set, an expression, noun or verb is given and then that word is used in a (very useful travel-related) sentence in tiny print below. The instructions recommend choosing seven cards, separating them, and saying them out loud and then repeating in your head seven times before moving on to the next card. Continue throughout the day, reviewing the ones you've mastered. There are 5 idioms in the back of the deck; one has a typo in the English portion but no matter. There are also two cards that have the ordinal numbers, another with pronouns, and one with the alphabet on one side/reading tips on the back. There are a couple of blank cards to separate the cards you've mastered from the ones you haven't.Mostly, I love the box that contains the set; it seems very sturdy and I expect will hold up to all the use it's going to get just in our home! It's about the size of an index card so easy enough to pack in your carryon for review on a plane, train or other transportation as you travel. Well done!
