Palo PopcornPremium Cheddar Popcorn, 6-ounce bags (Pack of 6)

OH MY GOSH! This is heaven. I purchased the Palo premium cheddar cheese popcorn hoping for the best. I was waffling between this brand and another one in a tub, but I figured individually packed bags would stay fresher longer than a tub that kept getting opened and closed every time I wanted a snack. I was terrified they would arrive smashed but that was not the case. There were 6 very large bags of popcorn nestled into a box with packing paper on top. They perfectly fit the box they were shipped in so there was no jostling en route. I opened a bag last night planning to eat about 1/3 and ended up eating well over half the bag in one sitting. I will say it is addictive! Very nice cheesy taste, no weird aftertaste. We have a popcorn/fudge/candy store a couple of towns over that sells this, but it's a 45 minute drive and parking is a nightmare so I rarely get it. When I saw this on Amazon I almost didn't buy it because of the price, but then I realized for what I pay for a box there, it would be around the same cost if I purchased 6 boxes at a time plus the gas to get there and back. $6/bag seems like a perfect price point to me. When opening the bag the smell was phenomenal. It smelled freshly popped and it was not stale at all. Nicely crunchy and cheesy, very few hulls, and only a few unpopped kernels per bag. You do get orange fingers afterwards, but it's finger-licking good! I will definitely be adding these to my subscribe and save so that I never run out. I will, however, have to develop a bit more willpower so I don't go overboard since they are high in calories/carbs.

I discovered this stuff a while back at a gas station about 3 hours from my house and it was amazing but couldnt find it anywhere. Decided to look online one day and found out was it not only in Wisconsin (right next door to my in Minnesota), it was available here on Amazon! Best part is, I get it in 1-2 days. I have ordered 2 boxes (6 bags in each box) so far and I will be ordering more. In my opinion, best movie theater popcorn ever!

My first impression of the Butter flavor version was that it tastes like it has been dipped in butter! Full on soaked almost in it. I can not recall ever having had buttered popcorn that tasted as rich and creamy as this did. Even in my youth, when I would get movie popcorn with so much butter topping there was a puddle in the bottom of the bucket, this was still richer.While I found it very tasty, I could understand how some people might find it overwhelming. At times it almost tasted wet. This is very much NOT a light coating. If the other flavors they have are equally saturated, this definitely might be a bit too overpowering for some. I knocked one star off for how strong this was. I would actually love if they had a light-butter version when you just don't want THAT much flavoring.I appreciated that the bags were not too big, as it allowed me to have a reasonable amount in a single sitting. If your a big fan of flavor, I would absolutely give this a try.

Horrible taste. I have tried to like it but I don't. It's very greasy and upsets my stomach. Wish I had not purchased it.
