Amazing book and exceeded my expectations
I bought this book in the pre-order period, and I was having no interest at all in TikTok ads! Just bought it because of authors’ reputation in the marketing world: Perry and Dennis in one book! Also, I have to confess I was hating TikTok 100% as a user.This book has changed my mind (ok, keep hating TikTok/Facebook/YouTube...etc... but use them as traffic source to hook potential customers), I read the first 25 pages so far and it’s full of unusual wisdom, it’s not only changed my view on TikTok ads but also new perspectives to look at marketing channels and strategy.In the beginning of the book, they recommended “The Make $1 Model” and that is an honest advice that helps you take off the ground unlike other shiny benchmarks that exist everywhere which eventually put heavy pressures on your shoulders.I thought I will delay reading this book for years, till having some interest in TikTok! But after skimming it and reading some pages, now moved to my top reading list. And I urge you to read this book even if you insist to never do something on TikTok! Because the book has strategic wisdom that’s crucial for marketers and entrepreneurs in this decade.Thanks Perry and Dennis for writing such amazing book.

Excellent book with hidden GOLD
Excellent starter material for TikTok ads. I'm an ad buyer who wanted to learn TikTok because that's where people's attention is, and I was not disappointed!While TikTok ads are still new and there's a lot that you need to test on your own to figure out what works for your business, this book is a great first resource for those who want to get started today.One of the most valuable aspects is provided by Dennis Yu that teaches you how to produce TikTok content at scale, even if all you have is content from other platforms.Overall, the book is worth the price because in order to learn on your own what this book teaches you, you will spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on ads testing things.

THE only TikTok Ads Book you'll ever need!
First of all, Dennis Yu and Perry Marshall IMO are the Godfathers of Digital Advertising! To have the come together and write this book is amazing! TikTok has quickly become the #1 social media platform with over 45.8 mins spent per day according to eMarketer.This books states the case on why TikTok and provides a comprehensive step-by-step approach on how to access 1 Billion people in 10 minutes! Wow!I own a digital marketing agency with clients nationwide and this book will help us to hit the ground running.For anyone; a business owner, marketer, or agency owner, get this book...like right now! You won't regret it!I hope to run into Dennis or Perry and when I do, I'll have them sign it along with taking a selfie!

Great primer for an up and coming ad platform.
I was a complete novice when it came to TikTok. Dennis Yu and Perry Marshall seamlessly walked me through the process .What I found most compelling was the strategy of repurposing Facebook Video ads that were profitable into TikTok ads and posts of various length.

The 80/20 approach to TikTok marketing
I've been reading and following Perry Marshall since 2010. I attribute the success of my 3 businesses largely to his ideas and guidance. Beginning with the Ultimate Guide to Google Adwords, then his newsletter, then the Ultimate Guide to Facebook Advertising, then the 80/20 Sales and Marketing.The Definitive Guide to TikTok Advertising doesn't disappoint. It provides both the conceptual foundation (based on the 80/20 law and the Tactical Triangle) as well as hands-on instructions on how to create and run TikTok ad campaigns. Without spending a whole day shooting videos.Now I have a clear vision for how to scale my business using TikTok ads.

Good for some audiences.
This is one in a series of books about online marketing by Perry Marshall. There is some very good material in this, but be aware it's written for professional marketers with considerable experience in Facebook and other venues. For instance, it starts out telling you to sign up for a TikTok Business Center account. This is NOT needed or even recommended by TikTok for individual advertisers. It's for marketers with multiple advertising accounts and/or working with a team.The best material tends to be on basic approaches to social media advertising, and this was worth the price of the book. Marshall himself doesn't even claim to know much about TikTok, to the point that he had to bring on a co-author to write those parts. And even then, the material is more a description of how that co-author, Dennis Yu, uses the platform, rather than a comprehensive discussion of options. The few questions I brought to the book were mostly not addressed -- basic questions about comparing types of targeting, or different options for bidding and budgeting. I found much more helpful material on TikTok's own help pages for advertisers.One big complaint I had was that much key material was contained in charts and screenshots, and these were so small and low-contrast in the paperback that much of the text was simply unreadable -- even with a magnifying glass! Whoever designed this book had no clue how to handle graphics in print. I have no idea how a final proof looking like this could have been approved, or why the book is still on sale in this state. I would think the authors would find it an embarrassment.

Get off the Social Media Content production treadmill
The combination of Perry & Dennis hits the sweet spot. The book starts with this statement on the TikTok strategy → "Yes. You read that right. 30 minutes." (per week) then goes on to teach the principles that enable you to do exactly that. This isn't a hacks & tricks book, it's a broader strategy book that, if you implement, get's you off the endless content generation treadmill and onto the promised 30 minutes a week. Highly recommended for those who are not looking for the next bright shiny object hacks.
