Q: Gas refill in the UK ~£12.99 assuming returned deposit. For 60l, that’s ~21.65p/l, why is it dearer than bought fizzy water (as low as 12p/l) please?

OR buy a boc co2 bottle that does 1000+ liters and an adapter for your soda stream and save money and the environment. 🤫😉

They are advertised as having a 2 year warranty so send it back and get another out of them.

If you mean the gas bottle - Sodastream do a return scheme where they will send a full bottle on receipt of an empty one, go to their website for details.

Q: How is the taste with the tapwater?

The taste is just like bottled sparkling water. I always use tap water and am pleased with the result. No more plastic bottles.
