Orly Breathable Nail Color, Sweet Serenity, 0.6 Fluid Ounce

If you want an “elevated natural” look, this is the perfect product. It’s a sheer, clear color with a touch of nude-pink undertones. It reminds me of a natural French manicure color - not the one with raspberry undertones, but more of a natural nail bed color (on light-medium skin). Unlike other light pink colors, this doesn’t look white at all, nor does it look pink.It went on smoothly and dried quickly. I’m uncoordinated with short nails, so my nails normally look like a crime scene when I use color. However, the nature of this product is very forgiving for those who color outside the lines of their natural nail frame. I’m a nail biter and often get polish on the top of my finger, but it’s hard to tell with this color.

This breathable nail polish is fantastic! I am so impressed with the simplicity, durability, and overall appearance of this ORLY offering. I'm going on week three of this 1-step manicure with remarkable results. I followed the suggestion of no base or top coat, and applied 2 coats of the ORLY Elixir polish to my toes. There are no chips, flaking, or scratches! I am not the most gentle with my feet, and I have been swimming, running, wearing sandals, shoes & socks, gardening, working out, etc. Not only is this polish super durable, but it is still stunningly shiny. Orly is the best nail polish out there. When going to drugstore I would wonder why certain nail polish was so expensive! I would think to myself why on earth would anybody buy Nail polish that expensive?? Now I know why. ORLY got me off the salon nails! Finally after about 20 years. And it is such self care and love for myself to do my own nails. It was work but I’m worth it!!! Plus I save about $50 every month-not to mention 2 hours at the salon 👋This color Is really very lovely. It’s very classy and professional to wear to work, and also for every day look with jeans. Two coats is best.Lasts about 2 weeks. Love it.

The nail polish was nice, but the color was significantly lighter than what is pictured.

I love Orly Breathable nail polish. I find that it is very gentle on my nails. It does not discolor or dry them out. I'd say it is slightly less durable than regular nail polish on my fingernails. On the plus side, I think one coat provides better coverage than regular nail polish. The viscosity of the nail polish is very good for application. One coat is enough, and a second coat can be added to refresh.Orly Breathable dries quite quickly, perhaps not as fast as regular nail polish, but quick enough. I have a few shades and just added Down to Earth. I really like it. It is matte and a sophisticated, modern shade of cool tan.I have used Orly Breathable on both my fingernails and toenails. On the toes, it holds up about as well as ordinary nail polish.I wish Orly made more shades in Breathable formula. I use the brand almost exclusively and I'd like more selection.

It is a bit streaky for the recommended 2 coats. I can see myself adding a third and forth as the days go on in the week to hide chips too. *update* dropped review down bc the polish didn’t cure right. The color looks foggy and dull more matte than gloss. I bought 3 colors and all are not working well. I bought this brand and formula years ago when it first came out and had no problems. I bought more now and definitely not the same starting power and doesn’t cure. I’ll try with a top coat and see what happens.These all won’t cure like they smudge and chip quickly. Wish I could give negative stars. I used to love these a few years ago. Formula must’ve changed

I expected this to be breathable in the summer for nail health. It didn’t make a difference at all. The color is OK?

I have gotten a lot of pedicures and also put on my own toenail polish. At some point got some white fungus under the polish. This has been going on for at least a couple years now. I would go without polish for a while and treat nails, but as soon as I kept polish on for a couple weeks, I would start getting the white again. Saw something online about this polish and decided to try it, figuring it was never really going to work. I’ve been using it for about three months now. I put it on usually two layers at a time and then will touch it up a couple times before removing and putting a brand new layer. I am shocked to say that I just removed it again, and absolutely no sign of white and my toenails look amazing. No fungus starting, no discoloration. I started the first time by filing the top of my nails to remove most of the white. And when I do take it off, I still apply a bit of antifungal a couple hours before applying. But I am not using antifungal regularly by any means. After two years of dealing with that, I can’t believe this nail polish actually works. I don’t know if it’s treating the fungus or if it’s just because it really is somehow letting the nail breathe… Which makes no sense to me, as it coats, the nails like regular nail polish and looks like regular regular nail polish. But it works and I’m ordering more. Does start to chip a little earlier, but no big deal. Still lasts pretty long. Not getting paid for a review and I don’t review often, but thought it would be nice to help others. Many of us get stuck wearing nail polish because our nails look bad, knowing that the nail polish is just going to make our nails worse. Endless cycle. This product broke the cycle for me.

Love this polish, wears well, love the color, strongly recommend

I have toenail fungus on my feet and if it wasn't for breathable nail polish, I wouldn't be able to wear any. The colour is a coral pink, very pretty. I take it to my esthetician when I have my monthly pedicure and it lasts until my next appointment. This is my second colour and I'll definitely be buying more.

Does that look like a one-step nail polish? It’s streaky and looks like I decided to do my nails with old Liquid Paper. The company wouldn’t let me return it, but said any problems that I had could be addressed through them, but that would involve them actually replying to the complaint, which they didn’t. For $18.07CAD, this is just a cr@p product from a cr@p vendor.
