Perfect for my Ancestral Heirloom Album to hand down to my grandchildren. Excellent quality and love the medalions attached to the tie. I've named the album, "Fallen Leaves from my Tree" and ironicly one of the medallions is a metal leaf. Perfect symbol. I would highly reccomend buying this item.

I was blown away by the beauty of this item. Perfect for what I wanted. Larger than what it seemed, which by the way, which what I was hoping for. Will use for condensing courtship, engagement, wedding and then anniversaries. Love the leather. love the string.

I made a memory book for my 18 y/o granddaughter for her birthday and graduation. The whole family contributed photos and made a special page with their thoughts and wishes.This brought her to tears, great presentation

Versatile journal/scrapbook, though does not close very securely
I bought this journal specifically for a family road trip through the Pacific NW this summer because I knew we'd be wanting to chronicle our adventures in Forks, WA, Astoria, OR and all of the fun Twilight/Goonies/etc. sites along the way.Things I love about this journal/scrapbook: The leather is nice. It does not feel flimsy at all. The paper pages are sturdy so I have been able to attach photos with photo corners and we have also been able to have our family members journal on those pages. I love that there are pages for holding 4x6 photos, as well. The photo pages are very sturdy and having both paper pages and the photo pages really makes this the perfect type of journal/scrapbook for chronicling our family's adventures.Things I do not like about this journal/scrapbook: The way it is held by thin leather straps for closing and the charms attached. While the charms are cute, they make a lot of noise when you are holding or carrying the journal and they make it difficult for the book to be stored in a bookshelf with other books or albums. All in all, I am happy with this journal. It is still really cute and you could probably cut off the charms or secure it a different way to make it close more securely. Good journal/scrapbook for the price.
