Beautiful swirl of clear and white glass. Great quality. Strong
Bought some for my orchids, love them so much I've bought another 4 for my kitchen herbs, tgey hide the supermarket grey pots beautifully. A swirly mix of white and clear glass. Perfect for orchids to allow light to the roots, also small dimple at base to prevent roots sitting in water.

Beautiful pot which will help your orchid flourish
A lovely friend bought me a new orchid last week which came in a very pretty ceramic pot. However, having once attended a lecture on the care of orchids I was aware that they prefer to have their roots exposed to light as much as possible so I decided to treat myself to a glass orchid pot (the ceramic pot has been put to good use elsewhere). This pot caught my eye on Amazon, and the price was such a bargain that I decided to order two so I could also re-home one of my existing orchids.I was attracted by the raised (wine bottle style) base of these pots, as I know that orchids do not like to sit in water. This clever design means that my clear plastic orchid pots balance on top without sitting in water. They arrived extremely well packaged - boxed with tonnes of bubble wrap around each of them. I was surprised at how heavy they are. They really do look and feel like quality items. I also really like the uniqueness of the patterns on them. I bough the aqua design and it captures the idea of recycled glass perfectly. My only wish it that they made the same items in bigger sizes as I have some much larger orchids that I would love to put into these pots. I'll be keeping my eye open in case the makers produce a larger pot in future and then I'll definitely be a returning buyer!

Good value
I was recently fortunate enough to be given a lot of advice on caring for orchids. I had not realised that orchid roots need to be exposed to light and should be kept in glass or clear containers. (Why are they always sold in ceramic pots?). This is a solid, glass container which is the perfect size for the standard orchid and it is designed to keep the roots out of any residual water that might remain in the base of the pot. (Do keep your orchid in the original clear plastic plant pot). It’s good value for money and would be pretty to hold any House plants. Unfortunately, it is not quite what I wanted since it is quite opaque and I doubt that much light will get to the roots. Having said that it is certainly better than the thick ceramic pot that came with the orchid. Only time will tell and it does look nice amongst my other orchids. It was delivered very well wrapped and it is as described.

Lets light reach the roots for photosynthesis
Perfect orchid vase - allows light through it without showing the internal pot. And has a raised bump at the base to prevent the internal pot from sitting in water.

Very nice WHITE large orchid pot.
Avoided buying due to green hue in the photo - but the pot is totally streaky white / clear without the green recycled glass colour. Doing the perfect job of covering up the unsightly plastic pot & roots etcSlightly pricy - but isn't everything at the moment, and better value than some items I have bought in recent weeks!Sturdy thick coloured glass as opposed to painted glass, so will last as long as the pot willLarger than average size for an orchid pot - so typical garden centre orchids will sit in the bottom - not half way up (as would be ideal) if they also have a concave base - as it simply fits over the raised base in the pot - if that makes any sense?!Ideal for slightly larger than standard orchids.
