Q: Is there anything else in this besides 100% Pure Aloe Vera? Any yucky chemicals?

Yes there is. Here is a list from the back of the bottle: Aloe vera gel, triethanolamine, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, tetrasodium edta, dmdm hydantoin ( aka formadehyde), diazolidinyl urea. There is an asterisk on the front of the bottle where is says 100% GEL. The chemicals are on the back of the bottle, of course there is no picture provided of that.

Q: Wasn't this product in the news to have zero aloe vera in it?

I didn't see that on the news, but it has only 8 ingredients. Aloe Vera is listed first, meaning it is the largest percentage of the product. It has worked perfectly for many skin issues. I would, and have, recommended it to friends & family. I have ordered it multiple times. I suggest you give it a try. It is a huge 24oz. bottle at a reasonable price. AND it contains NO ALCOHOL!! I always keep a spare on the shelf so I never run out.

I did! I used this with Dickinson’s witch hazel and a few drops of lavender oil.
