Q: what size bottles will fit in this..normal 75cl bottles, or would 1ltr bottles be too tall

Hi there. 75cl bottles will fit just fine. Some 1ltr bottles fit and others don't, depending on the shape of the bottle. There is approximately 35cm of space for the bottles.

Q: What is the net weight of this and is it delivered fully assembled?

Great question! The net weight is approximately 10kg. It is delivered flat packed, like all bar globes so that it survives shipping. Over the years we have tried several times to ship the bar globes assembled but it simply doesn't work. Assembly takes a 10 minutes and once ordered, if you would like to send us an email through Amazon, we will send you a link to our detailed assembly YouTube video.

Q: can I ask ...Is the globe made of wood and painted...or cardboard with transfer stickers ?

Hi Ken. The globe has hardwood legs and veneered wood that is painted. This is the furniture of the globe. The globe ball itself is made from thick acrylic with paper laid on top. The process of laying paper "gores" onto globe balls has been practised for hundreds of years and is still the most accurate and best way to lay a globe.
