This blanket is amazing. Love the quality of it, and it actually does keep you cool. Its super soft and not heavy to me at all. I actually have two of these because i liked them so much.

This blanket is the most comfortable feeling one blanket I’ve owned! I will stand firm by that opinion.I have a rare nervous system disorder and it causes a lot of burning, heat, discomfort, and pain! I have tried material after material to help relieve some of the symptoms, mainly heat. Before this I used a Turkish blanket that didn’t bother my skin but would trap heat on me, and it was worn down from years of use that my skin began hurting to the point I could no longer use it.I use a lot of thin wicker clothing while not at work cause it’s soft against my skin, that’s what made me looked into wicker type bedding and found this one that had 2 options. Cooling and warming! I figured if one side didn’t work there’s always the other side I could try, I had nothing to loose by trying. I am a blanket person always have been, so to find one I can carry around while home means a lot.The quality is on one side is similar to the wicker clothing I use. Soft, Comfortable, and durable!! The other side is like a soft tee shirt. Soft, thin, and comfortable. Just imagine having a super soft athletic size blanket shirt to sleep with. That’s how I feel. The wicker side seems like better quality than the cotton side. Cotton wears down typically quicker than wicker. I’ve been using this about a month now and only wash on gentle cycle then tumble low in hopes it’ll last long, only time will tell.The corners all around this blanket are reinforced very well. The sizing is made to fit one person kinda like the size of a throw!I’ve tried both sides on separate nights and neither side caused any kind of irritation or heat. I sleep with my ac set at 64 degrees to help ease the heat from my nerves. (In other words I don’t get cold often) This helped keep my body at a desirable feeling temp and did not increase it from what I could feel. I am happy that I found a replacement blanket on the first try. When I get money saved up I plan to buy a back up blanket just in case.I have not found anything I don’t like about this blanket. However, if things change as time goes on, I will amend this review.If you are sensitive to touch or heat I would suggest giving wicker type material bedding a try, I can’t speak for all of them but this specific one and It works!

One product I bought that is really what it says it is is this blanket. I use it when I'm feeling hot sometimes I have hot flashes and it's just enough to cover you up but it keeps you cool it's the neatest material I'm glad I bought it

I really love this light-weight blanket was a real sleep-saver for me. My husband can sleep with our fluffy winter-weight blanket even during the summer, but I struggle with with sleep with even the sheet over me in the heat, even with our air conditioning on. I realized that our bed was the actual problem. While we have a wonderfully firm mattress on the bed, about a year ago, my husband had complained that he couldn't seem to get comfortable on our bed. He insisted on putting memory foam topper on the bed and I didn't see any problem, so that's what we did. Big mistake. Between the memory foam making my body warmer , my fluffy blanket trapping my natural body heat, and my memory foam pillow, I found myself waking during the night, soaking wet and the bed covers soaked, too, everywhere my body touched them. I'm way past the age for hot flashes, so I had to figure out how to sleep "cooler. I changed to an all cotton, light-weight night gown, put a "pad" of several layers of pure cotton between myself, and the mattress, changed to pure cotton sheets, and bought a new pillow with a layer of gel infused foam on the surface and covered with a bamboo fabric. While all of this helped, I missed the gentle weight of my fluffly blanket. That was when I found this wonderful Luxear cooling blanket. I was skeptical, but was the best thing for myself. The blanket added the gentle weight, while allowing my body heat to escape and not form the sweat I had experienced before. At the same time, the blanket kept me from being chilled with from our air conditioning. I don't know how it works, but it does, and I am finally sleeping comfortably through the night and waking with a dry body and dry hair. I love this blanket, and I heartily recommend it to anyone who suffers from heat build up in their bed during the night. This blanket breathes, and I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Oh, and I've found that it washes fine in my washer set on a a cold water, extra-gentle cycle and dries either by hanging (which I do) or by tumbling in the dryer - with dryer balls - on the "no heat" air cycle of the dryer. Dryer heat would likely be a disaster for it.

It is thin and does not get hot on its own. Especially if used on smooth " cooling" side. Does not have any cooling effects.

Seen a Tiktok video of this blanket and HAD to buy it.. it is sooo nice. One side is silky, therefore cooling and the other is a jersey knit type fabric for "all weather" use. It isn't super heavy and bulky, provides just enough weight during the hot summer to be comfortable, plus the cooling side. I was curled up in it, on one of the hottest days of the summer and while it isn't like being strapped to a giant ice cube, it does "pull" some heat away and cool you off. I've purchased other cooling blankets that were more a thin cotton weave. This? This is a cooling blanket.

Quality very good, is cooling unless you have other blankets on top of it. Love it

Ich habe 2 Decken bestellt, da in unserer Dachwohnung (Altbau) die Temperaturen rasch in die Höhe schnellen und man es Nachts kaum aushält. Doch bei offenem Fenster, ohne Decke, das finden mein Mann und ich auch nicht so gut. Die Luxear Decken erregten meine Aufmerksamkeit, weil ich a) eine Baumwolldecke suchte und b) mich der Kühleffekt reitzte.Die Decken kamen in einer aufwendigen und hochwertigen Verpackung pünklich bei uns an. Nachdem wir sie aus dem Karton und der Folientüte befreit hatten, fiel mir erst mal ein unangenehmer, sehr chemischer Geruch auf. Die Decken sahen aber sehr wertig aus uns sind erstaunlich schwer, dafür aber auch echt groß! Nachgemessen 2m x 2,20m.Da sich die erwartete Hitzewelle ankündigte, beschloss ich die Decken erst mal zu waschen. Nach der ersten Wäsche war der unangenehme Geruch leider noch da, also direkt wieder in die Maschine und diesmal etwas Sauerstoffbleiche dazu... das Ergebnis war hervorragend. Kein Geruch mehr, die Decken sind am Körper kaum spürbar und trotz Hitzewelle haben wir die spürbar glattere, kühlende Seite bisher nur bei Höchsttemperaturen genutzt. Die andere Seite ist anschmiegsamer und fühlt sich wie weicher Jersey an. Die Decken sind rundherum fest gesäumt und sehr gut verarbeitet.Seit Jahren suchte ich nach einer geeigneten Decke und bin jetzt total glücklich mit meiner Wahl!
