Like some features, don't like others
The lab coat is definitely made to last, however the wife does not like the fabric at all. It is coarse, rough, wrinkle-prone, and stiff. It is nothing like the Meta lab coat she has, which has fabric that is smooth, soft, and wrinkle free. The fit for this new one, too, is a little large, but fine for wearing over sweaters and such in the winter. She really likes all the pockets (for tablet/iPad, two interior in addition to the outside pockets, and chest pocket with separate slot for a pen). The many pockets, and their configuration, is THE feature that decided her on buying this particular Meta lab coat. Asked if she would buy again, she said she would, but only if the company makes it with all the same pockets, using the soft, wrinkle-free fabric, offer it in several colors, and if they add a couple of inches to the length (at least 39") as befits a lab coat for a primary care provider. If they did, she would buy several and recommend that her colleagues to do the same.

You don’t need to spend a fortune for a quality lab coat
I was on the hunt for a professional looking, slim fit, lab coat with some style and thought I needed to spend a lot of money to get one. I ordered one from a high end company and spent $200…when it arrived it was a great disappointment and I returned it. Someone told me about this Meta 1964 lab coat and I figured I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did! I don’t think it’s advertised as slim fit, but it is body contouring without being restrictive and is very flattering. And there are pockets hidden everywhere! Note: I did some research on how to care for it because it’s a cotton blend which has a tendency to pill; Recommendation is that you wash it inside out, gentle cycle, and use a fabric softener. I’m giving it a go.

Looks very professional
This is the 3rd time I have gotten this same coat. I love the side slits so I can reach into my pants pockets if needed. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs and a size 10 fits great. The fabric is a very nice gabardine cotton and looks good right out of the dryer, but I usually press it to make it look 'crisp'. It is not light weight, but my office keeps the air conditioner at sub zero so that is NOT an issue!

Great lab coat- tried and true style
Love this jacket, it has been my tried and true style for 7 years now since I started working in the hospital. Looks great and sharp. Good around the waist but not too much where it takes the professional look away from it like some other labcoats designed for women. I do love this labcoat best when it's brand new abs and never washed or just a couple wash because it's so crisp! However after a few washes it looks limp, esp if I don't iron it with starch- perhaps I'm Not very good at doing laundry. Ironing isn't necessary if you take it out of the dryer immediately. Great lab coat/ great price.

Good material.
The overall quality is good. The only drawback for me is it fit on the small side. I'm keeping it though because I don't mind wearing it unbuttoned.

The style & tailoring of the doctor’s coat is wonderful
I wear a size 8 doctor’s coat. Needless to say a size 0 is way too small. I am disappointed. You have no instructions on returning your products.

Buttons fell off easily
This is the same coat, brand and size, that I purchase and wait 3 weeks for from a representative who visits my medical office. For some reason the quality is not the same. One button fell off in a couple of days and a second button fell off a couple weeks later. I lost the second button and unlike previous coats, again in the same brand, there are no extra buttons sewn on the inside of the coat.
