Works as stated and is pleasing to work with a cordless machine. So handy not to have to cary extortion cords around with you. Price ws right as the dealt was far to expensive for a weekend carpenter.

I ordered this tool and liked it right away, powerful, adaptable, easy to use and the various speeds enable you to make short work of tough materials. My De Walt batteries connect right up and I don't need to deal with another expensive set of batteries. After 8-10 uses the tool seemed to be less effective so I checked it over and noticed that the screws holding the headpiece on were loose. I tightened them up and it was back to work. After another dozen uses, I noticed a rattle inside the body cavity when I moved the tool around. I opened up the tool to find that one of the capacitors had broken loose off the board. There is no good way to solder it back on and it is still running, so I will have to see how long it lasts! Great tool, poor construction for the power it puts out. Long lasting? We will see what happens next, but I'd buy it again for the money.

I did not want to spend $150 on a tool I will use, but not every day. I was concerned as this was not a name brand (DeWalt), but it is heavy, strongly made and fits DeWalt batteries perfectly. Seems like a good knockoff!

Sturdy feel, good set of 3 blades plus a scraper, nice sanding head with ample starter set of sandpaper. Very easy to use. Gets into tighter places. Makes simple work of difficult tasks. Planed a 100-year-old solid wood door so that it closes — without damaging it or taking it off its hinges. Test-cut soft and hardwood with good results. Terrific value.
