Delicious Italian White Sugared Almonds 1kg (approx. 250)

Perfect for the purpose we bought them. They are nice, not too sweet either. Good for a party of people.Arrived promptly.

I chose this rating because the sugared almonds are exactly the product I wanted & met my expectations!I've been buying sugared almonds from various sources for many years & from amazon for over a year, I haven't yet been disappointed with those from amazon.

For my daughters wedding I ordered violet sugared almonds from a different supplier which contained whole almonds Those sent by this order referred to above contained only half an almond in each sweet. I regarded this as unacceptable and sharp practice but the supplier refused to take any interest,telling me that they came from his supplier in Italy and he was not interested in assisting me.My family is part Italian and I will lose face if I produce these sub standard sweets at my daughters wedding .I would add that the family have been giving and receiving sugared almonds at family weddings and christenings for over forty years and never been short changed before .I have a mental picture of a little old Italian mamma being paid a pittance to cut these almonds in half just to make a profit for my supplier and a disappointment for my daughter.The violet sugared almonds supplied were completely satisfactory and they were almost identically priced. I will report on them as requested.

A bit too hard.

Bought these as favours for our wedding and they were great: decent size and delicious. Quick delivery too which is lucky as we didn't' order enough to start with and needed an extra box at the last minute.

Good quality and a good size, munched through what was left after the bombombiere was finished
