I had one of these when I was a kid and wanted to get another one as an adult for the nostalgia. I’ve been running it all day and night for a couple days now and there’s been no issues. It does make a clicking noise every time the film goes around, but the one I had 15 years ago did the same thing (and they were probably “higher quality” back then). My AC running is louder than the sound of the lamp running (other than the clicking, it’s actually very very quiet).

I LOVE this!! Looks like the picture and works great. A little expensive, but happy with it overall! The colors are very vibrant, and it’s a good size. I will say that the lighting itself looks a little patchy and cheap, and you can see that the design is printed on a thin sheet of paper since there’s some overlap that becomes visible at a certain point during the rotation. It tends to be a little noisy sometimes if it gets stuck and from the effort it takes to keep going, but I leave it on all the time so it could just be from the wear. I’ve had it for a few months now.

After receiving a broken tank, we returned and reordered and I’m glad I did! My daughter (2.5yr old) loves it! She’s had a fear of the dark start about a month ago and has been struggling to sleep in her room but the light works great! I do wish it has a way to dim the lights for when she falls asleep, but overall it’s perfect for what I needed it for. If you give it to a smaller child (5 or so down) I would definitely make sure it was somewhere the child couldn’t easily grab it. Not sure how durable it is.

Didn't come with instructions but on the side of the box it cautions that it shouldn't be used for lighting and run no longer than 8 hours..Plug it in .. relax... and watch the fish slowly swim by... best part you don't have to feed them or clean the tank..!

I 100 percent recommend this for all ages.

Cool little addition to my room, does make a faint noice but I sleep with a fan anyway so doesn’t bother me much😼

Cat was enthralled,lol. Saw one at my doctor's office. They replaced their real fish tank. No maintenance, lol

Its cute, but the motor is so loud that I cant enjoy the lamp. It truly sounds like a plague of locusts live inside my lamp.
