Couldn't be happier with this, it fit my russell hobs 24280 kettle perfectly, no issues swapping it for the damaged part - not sure what else to ad other then it does exactly what it should!

I would give it 0 if that was an option. This claims to be a genuine part. Having fitting it to the kettle and boiled some water the filter warped so much it was sticking out the top of the holder. I tried pushing it back into place with only partial success. A couple more uses sand it had curled so much it was impossible to refit. Instead of being straight it was C shaped. I have returned it for a refund and sourced one from a different supplier that works perfectly.

So useful to be able to buy a replacement hard water filter, otherwise one would be tempted to replace the kettle. This is exactly how products should be sold, ie, with the ability to replace components individually rather than the whole product.

Looks like the genuine part but after first use the whole thing curled up and shrivelled. Wrong type of plastic. Went in the bin
