Easy to use
Got for my father to give him something to do and he picked up on it quick. The tools are well made and the book makes instructions easy

Fun kit for any skill level
Whittling is not as easy as making perler beads, but if you have a crafty child or want to try whittling as an adult, this is a great kit. It has all you need. It comes with these wooden blocks. My 12-year old was able to carve a (sitting) golden retriever with it --- seems like a quality kit to me. She loves it too.

Great purchase, but be careful.
The wood, stencils they give are great. The only issues that I have is the gloves. They don't have non slip surface on the Palm side of the hand. The gloves maybe cut resistant but you can still stab yourself. And the knives though sharp have a more round handle coupled with the non slip surface on the palm. BE CAREFUL!!
