Finally, a cheap portable monitor that's actually good...
This is a great screen. I bought it to use primarily with my ROG Ally X handheld, and it's a perfect accompaniment for that. The OLED screen is beautiful, with the fantastic colours and pure blacks that you would expect. The 1ms response means no smearing when gaming and the 1080p resolution is perfect for a screen this size (and for pairing with the ROG Ally X). If your device supports video out over USB-C like the Ally, then you can use it with a single cable. The Ally X can power the screen all by iteself but will obviously impact battery life somewhat. However, you can add power to the monitor, and it'll pass it back through to the Ally X (or, just plug power directly into the Ally or whatever device you're using if you prefer). The size is great for me, big enough to be useful, small enough to be portable. It's very thin and light. Brightness is very good, and it even has HDR support. For the price, this is an amazing display. Some may quibble about it's 60hz refresh rate, but for me, 60hz is more than enough for enjoying smooth gaming. The Ally X, being a handheld, would typically max out at 60fps at most for many games anyway. 1080p for that type of device is also as much as you need. I've tried watching movies on this screen and it's very good indeed for that usage as well. The speakers are loud enough and clear enough for most things, but as you'd expect, they're a little tinny sounding because they're so small. Good enough for most things, speech is very clear on them for example, but you won't want to be listening to music on them for long. Not dramas there, as I expected they'd be the weakest link on this display. I just use the speakers on the Ally instead, or use external speakers or headphones. This screen is very much recommended if you're looking for a good display of this size. Some people are concerned about screen burn-in on OLED panels, but do your research - it's really a non-issue for the vast majority of use cases. At last, these types of displays are finally at the point where they're worth your time and money, and now do provide a very good viewing experience.

Lovely OLED display
Bought to run retro consoles that only need 1080p resolutoions or below as trying to run a SNES through a 65" 4k display for example can be really ugly experience.Presentation is lovely colour levels are great. (does have HDR no cause to use it though with it being OLED I imagine its very good.)Packaging gives you everything you'll need including a mini hdmi cable and power brick but will run off a power bank or alternate brick (like a phone charger) with no challenges. There are no speakers on the panel but does come with 3.5mm pass through to plug in speakers or headphones. The foldable cover and stand are great if you are looking to move this around.Pictures are a hard measure but I use an OSSC for some of the things I attach to this but examples of what it can do.Portable displays have come a long way and this is well worth the price. OLED is prettty much a standard once you start using them daily with your phone and TV, great entry price. Although I use this for older consoles it would go great with current gen too if you arent looking for 4k modes.

Stunning image quality and really easy connectivity
This is a brilliant portable monitor and fantastic value for a full HD OLED display! The magnetically attached cover/stand works really well but it would be nicer if it allowed a portrait display mode too.Connection is via USB-C or mini HDMII've connected my laptop, game console and phone and they all work perfectly!

Cor blimey, Guv! I'm chuffed.
I will provide an updated review later! But thought i'd help others lookling for a portable monitor and seeing as I took the no user review gamble. But initial impressions are this is a very nice piece of kit. OLED is bright as and also has HDR / Game Mode / active sync. Metal chassis - feels quality. Little speakers are completely adequate which is not a diss on a screen this size.Deffo recommend. As well as work (yawn) i've been playing PS5 BF2042 and it looks /responds great.

Superb!
This is just an amazing monitor - The colours are great (need to turn down the colours a little) - so good it's shocking. Runs on a USB-C cable from my laptop - and get's power from that. Hands down the best monitor I've used in ages.

A few issues spoil it from being great
This is indeed an OLED screen (AMOLED) and has the usual infinite contrast, great viewing angles and amazing response times. It also feels great for gaming, with a really low input lag and superb motion. However, there are a few issues that spoil it for me.Firstly, the panel I received had terrible dark level consistency, with the left side being noticeably darker than the right. This meant that when playing games with dark areas, the left hand side was too dark and the right hand side was much brighter. The second issue is the lack of a colour clamp or saturation controls. The colourspace is way wider than sRGB and looks way oversaturated unless you use 3rd party software to clamp the gamut. This is not possible on consoles, so the games look too colourful and not accurate. The final issue is the lack of a brightness control. There is one, but it’s actually contrast. This isn’t a major issues, but it isn’t the case on their 4K+ monitor. I have owned them both and the 4K+ IPS is better overall.

Excellent one-cable solution for your Steam Deck
Excellent quality portable OLED screen. Looks really impressive, well build - spec wise might not be a 4K 1000 Nits peak brightness HDR powerhouse, but, for the purpose of converting your Steam Deck into a SteamOS little portable PC and doing some productivity or gaming on a bigger screen it's PERFECT. Would recommend.
