The outer box is a sleeve to reveal two half doors, like a wardrobe, that, when opened, reveals the very packed contents inside.You are first aware of the vast array of bold colours and so many packets, bottles, stoppers and other ingredients to help a budding potion maker.Please note in one of the photos I include the warning that s printed on the box. There does need to be adult supervision when using this kit. Small parts, and potential concerns for those with certain skin conditions etc....Watching two of our granddaughters, aged 9 and 6, open this and carefully, with lots of gasps of amazing, spread out the contents onto a table was so pleasurable.The bottles, plastic, and stoppers, a type of rubberised plastic, fit each other well. In our experience the yare easier to use and effect a better seal that those kits that use actual cork.Measuring jugs, bowls, stirrers, colours, powders.......the list just continues of well made, designed and very functional items contained in this kit.The instruction manual, at this point adult supervision needed to guide as needed for the younger children., is very rich in pictures and just "some" words. Great for our 9 years old granddaughter to be able to understand what goes with what and make a good potion.It would be very difficult to find fault with this kit. However, if they doubled up on the number of labels that would be useful. There are just not enough, considering how many bottles there are and how much they like to reuse and relabel them.This kit is truly wonderful and most valued and enjoyed. Our grandson, 7 years old, was also excited about playing with this.The parents also approved, nothing causing staining on a covered table or clothes. Nothing caused irritation either, again noting supervision was applied whilst using.Most recommended, the price just makes it even better value. Buy with confidence.I do hope this has helped you.

Great kit that provides amazing value for money. You get lots of different pieces that keep kids entertained for hours on end, and you get enough to last quite a few play sessions (rather than enough for only a couple of hours). I also really like how the box turns into a shelf display for the potions you make. The packaging has good quality as well, so it would make a perfect gift

I’ve bought this twice as a gift for 7 year old girls. They love it. My only complaint is that Amazon sent it out the second time with no packaging, and covered in delivery labels directly onto the box, which took me about an hour to remove. It puts me off ordering it again.

Bought as a gift for my daughter not really knowing what to expect, she'd put it on her wishlist. Beautiful kit full of different sized and shaped potion bottles, lots of ingredients to play with and cute little labels to go on the potions once made. Presented in a lovely box which looks like a cabinet where the potions can be stored once made. Great value for money, relatively easy to use and probably the most favourite gift on Christmas.

Bought for our Grandbens 9th birthday, she loves mixing thinks like this, keeps her occupied for ages, worth every penny.

My 7 year old daughter loves this set loads of stuff and ideas for potions.

Lovely set but key issue is the plastic bottle stoppers don’t stay in. They gradually come out so the potion spills. Cork stoppers are needed instead.
