The radio itself is commendable for its ability to provide adequate reception and capture a wide range of signals across various bands.However, I encountered a significant issue with the batteries included with the radio. Their poor quality resulted in short battery life, necessitating frequent recharging. Consequently, I opted to replace them with high-quality LG batteries, which resolved the problem effectively.

Well made, good size
It is a well made radio. I've been working with short wave radios for 60 years, this one provides wide coverage of many bands. Unfortunately, I find this radio overly complex, very frustrating and not intuitive.Even printing out the manual did little to make using it easier.

Amazing bit of kit
For a radio of this size and the fact it’s portable it really is a great investment that I’m so happy i bought. Shortwave has had me picking up Voice Of America which is over three thousand miles away. On FM it picks up more than any other radio I’ve ever owned and then there’s MW and LW which still has a few stations operating and the Raddy RF 919 picks up absolutely fine. It gets a 5/5..10/10 A+ from me
