This simple cover for me keyboard is fantastic. I only wish that I had bought it sooner for my old computer. I work in a fairly dusty place and am always worried about dust and my computer. After putting on this cover which fits flush with the keyboards, I realized that this is a great solution. Because it lays flat it really does the job at protecting from dust entering into the computer. As far as typing I find it very easily to type on and give it great marks for functionality. This is a simple great product for a great price. After years of being a Mac enthusiast I am learning that a few cheap protective products will really aid in the preservation of my expensive computer. Great product for sure.

I’ve had this for definitely over a year and it’s kept my keyboard safe and clean from flour, water, and more. It’s gotten stretched but hot water helps reshape it and only now has it started to tear where I pick at it. Simple, effective, and looks clean.

Any "skin" you put on over your keyboard is going to affect the smooth function of the keys. Get over it, or don't eat and drink and whittle and spit around your MAC. I had the black one on my MacAir 11" and it fit nice. It was an older MAC so it didn't have the lit keyboard. The one I am using now, on my 13" MacAir, is clear and fits great and works beautifully.Sure, I hav to punch the keys like an old Brother electric typewriter, but, Mmm, Mmm, these crackers with my coffee, sitting right next to me, are tasting GOOOD!!I will update this over time to review it's durability. I've only had it 3 weeks.

Love these - have bought several and this is the best - re-ordered this one many times for my mac-book air and you don't know its' there. And it saved by computer more than once - lasts for ages, and I use my keyboard a lot - then it gets a tad used and loose and I get a new one - perfect for the price too:)

Fits great on my 2013 Macbook Air. For all the people reading reviews stating it doesn't fit properly, give it a few days with opening and closing your laptop, and the silicone skin will start to fit your keyboard better and better. I can also flip my laptop completely sideways (>90º left or right) and it does not fall off, and there is no annoying plastic tap-tap of keys anymore (although some will have to get used to the squishier typing if you're picky like that). Only downfall I would say is that the keyboard backlight shines at about 1/3 intensity through the keyboard skin, and it doesn't go through the white lettering on the keys, only around the sides of the keys. It doesn't affect me much because I rarely use it unless I'm in the dark, but some may not like that feature. One of the cheapest ways to protect your $1000+ machine from crumbs, dirty fingers, liquid spills, and whatever else you manage to spill on your laptop.

I really like this keypad cover for multiple reasons. It is nice because it sits perfectly on my MacBook without having any thing that could damage my computer. I also really like how the keys feel as I type. You can't see the keyboard light through the letters, but I personally don't really care to use the light anyway. Overall, it has been a great product so far. It also came in super fast! I highly recommend!

while it is the right size (11 inch) for a 2015 macbook air model, it doesn't have the right key positions because it has the smaller right/left keys as well as different spacing between the f1-12 keys and some other differences that make it incompatible for that model. i do actually need it for another art project though, which is why i'm giving it 2 stars. overall, it is good quality, just not what i needed for my laptop. looking back, i'm realizing my laptop is A1534 so this might not be a misleading caption.
