Nelyrho 3KG Propane Smelting Furnace Kit, Stainless Steel Foundry with Crucible, Tongs and Gloves for Melting Silver, Copper and Aluminum

This was my first try at using a forge and it was easy to setup and the instructions for seasoning the crucible were straightforward and it doesn’t make as much noise as some reviews said so I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it. The only thing I would recommend is to spray the Kaowool with rigidizer to keep the ceramic fibers from blowing around and possible inhalation of these fibers which is not good for you. Mr Volcano is the one I used and it is on Amazon. It takes about 5 minutes to spray 1/2 of the bottle which you dilute with water. So your spraying 16 oz of the diluted solution on every part of the wool both furnace and lid entail it is all used up and it will all be a pink color. I left outside for a few days to dry before the initial setup and use. The first time you use it the pink color will turn white.Make sure you assemble all the parts when you receive the forge in case something is missing or broken. Have fun with your new forge!

It does it's job and heats up well. Directions/manual are awful but it's fairly straightforward set up.The crucible doesn't have a good lip to pour from, worth getting a new one

Instructions not very clear on which brick is which. I assume the brown one is for the hot crucible after it's out of the furnace and the white one goes inside the furnace. It's small perfect for my use. Great for beginners but need some extra items like a way to pour the molten metal and stir sticks. Possibly need an ingot mold

I purchased this for my husband’s birthday. He loves making jewelry & coins. He has experience melting precious metals & using equipment like this. After throughly reading all materials & following each instruction to the letter the crucible has cracked ! It can no longer be used as it will not regulate heat . I am so upset . I do not want to return the entire item but it is useless without it. He has only used it once and it doesn’t work! I do not know what to do know. I cannot reach seller to find a solution. It should not be cracking like this on first use. I believe it was cracked prior to use & we just didn’t notice until trying to use. Wasted a lot of propane & it’s expensive.

This kit was good and able to melt my aluminum scraps with ease. The gloves it comes with aren't very good. Would recommend getting some tougher ones. and when pouring, the crucible does not have a pouring spout. But overall it does a good job. Just plan on upgrading a few of the side components.

I have melted a bunch of aluminum cans and it is working great!Need to try out some precious metals where the melt point is higher and see what it can do!It doesn't take up much space at all which is great. Heats up quick and holds temp very well for the size.Once I outgrow this one I will be buying the larger one from them!

This is my first furnace for melting cans so I’ve got a little bit to learn. I did learn one thing today on my first use, the provided gloves will not hold up to the heat. Everything else so far seems to work good. I would recommend this as a beginner’s setup (3kg model), experienced folks may want something bigger.

Easy to use good size. Preferably better control on heat level . Durable other wise
