These surpassed my expectations. I was expecting to listen to baseball games, and maybe some music. I mean, how good could MUSIC be in something that wasn't filling up my ear canals? Well, you find the "sweet spot" along the curvature of your ear, and these provide a really fun experience. We all know that their Space A40 buds are the best buds less than $100. These are not for audiophiles. And I do not mind audio products IN my ear canal. These, though, are comfortable. Their open-ear design allows events around you to be heard. I am still just struck at how well music is sounding. No bass-thumping, of course. Quality, construction - these were a great investment.

These are a great option for an open-ear design at this price point, the sound is very full and balanced, impressive bass and volume without becoming distorted, I rarely feel the need to turn them up too much even when in a noisy area.I LOVE the Soundcore app, that’s another aspect that really makes it feel like the product is punching above its weight. The app adds so many excellent options to adjust and customize the sound to your liking, is very responsive and quick to update the earbuds, and I’ve run into minimal bugs. The app is also excellent for their sleep earbuds and you can create customized relaxing sounds to upload to the onboard memory (not applicable to this open-ear model, but figured I’d mention it.)Small complaints would be the lack of wireless charging, which is not a huge deal but would have loved to see it to complement my wireless charging docks.Comfort is another slight issue, they feel a bit large and heavy on my small ears, I think these would fit medium-sized ears best, and may be too tight on large or thick ear shapes.They do include some additional small plastic sleeves to slide onto the earbuds to adjust the gap size to be a little smaller (and credit to them for including two sizes, I need different sizes for each ear), but if you have larger ears you’re mostly out of luck, as they will be stiff and probably feel pinchy.I wish they had done a similar design to the Bose Ultra Open buds which I find myself reaching for more often because of the comfort, but still plan to use the Soundcore buds in the summer when they’re more likely to be exposed to moisture and sweat since they have a better water resistance rating.Also concerned I’ll have to remove the plastic sizing sleeves if any moisture collects in there, and I also had one of them crack in half randomly while sitting in the charging case (no idea how that happened!) so I may have to contact the company to get some spares. Wish they sold those separately!As far as I can tell the battery life is very good, though I haven’t used them for a long enough stretch at a time to drain them, so I’m unsure if they live up to the advertised length of time.Overall these are definitely worth a try, I favor the Bose just slightly because of the comfort, but the Soundcore are a really solid pick if they fit you and are a very thoughtfully designed device.

Love the C40i! The fact that I can hear my music, movies, or shows without the discomfort of having an earbud clogging my ears is amazing! They might be too comfortable. Sometimes I forget I have them on. Good thing they're water resistant. I've used all different types of ear buds and bone conduction headphones. I'd take these over all of them. I had the C30i before the C40i. I feel the sound quality is slightly better than the previous model. The functionality was definitely upgraded with the push function button instead of the touch function. I love that these are not noise cancelling ear buds, but they are pretty close. If I'm out on a walk, then I'll keep the volume slightly down so I can still hear my music but also the world around my like cars and stuff. But if I turn up the volume loud enough, I can hear next to nothing but what is coming out of the buds. If you're obsessed with bass and like the feeling of a subwoofer in your ear, these might not be for you. The C40i gives out enough bass to get the job done for me though.

All the pros of the i30c predecessor earphones but seemingly improved sound quality. Earphone fit is much more comfortable because of the flexing hinge/joint of the earphone. Very premium feel & build quality compared to the plastic former model. Improved tactile button control as opposed to it being a "touch sensor" like the last model. Call quality is amazing mic wise & clarity wise like the older model.Cons: charging case has a matte finish/feel to it making it more slick & prone to being dropped. Dislike the reduced battery life as opposes to the previous model. Why that declined is baffling for a model that is marketed as "newer & improved." That really keeps this from being a 5 Star product in my opinion. Despite that, it is still a 4.5 star product as it stands. Also the App is very intuitive. Dislike how they reduced the touch control options for the "press & hold" options & customizing how u can change answering & declining incoming calls. Maybe that's a software update thing. Older model settings had more customizability.Really wished product had a 10hour like the previous model as opposed to 7. Seems like such a drastic decline.

YOU NEED THEM! THEY ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST. I promise you as a person with small ears these are the only buds i can enjoy having, i have even slept with them, 0% discomfort, they are amazing. Charges fast and last even longer, the battery lasts me like 1 day non stop usage. Volume is great, you have features which allow you to control certain things by pressing the button. It fits perfectly, so comfortable and lightweight, honestly you don't feel them at all. Connection is great, easy to connect through Bluetooth however if u get far from the box of the buds you kind of lose connectivity. Overall amazing!

I've been telling my friends how good this is, especially if you're sweaty during exercise. The best thing about it is that it clamps on my ear naturally and is very comfortable. I sometimes forget I'm even wearing it. Just don't expect boss-level bass, but it's really good for listening to podcasts during short walks since it's important to be able to hear your surroundings.
