I've been using these earbuds for about 10 months now, and out of all the ones I've tried over the years, this is definitely the best. They're incredibly lightweight and comfortable—most of the time, I can barely feel them in my ears. The tactile buttons are a great touch, making them easy to control without the frustration that sometimes comes with touch-sensitive ones. The sound quality is very good, with clear mids and highs, though you shouldn’t expect heavy bass. For most types of listening—music, podcasts, and calls—they perform really well. Battery life is more than adequate for above-average daily use. I rarely find myself needing to recharge them unexpectedly. I especially recommend these for indoor use, where they truly shine. They’re not ideal for outdoor environments with a lot of background noise, as the noise isolation is limited.

Purchased Soundcore c40i in Jan 2025. Within 6 months it keeps giving me headaches. Once it connects to phone it wont disconnect even when both earphones are put back into the case and closed. So the phone keeps sending voices to Soundcore earphones and won’t link to other Bluetooth devices. It’s very annoying when you get off work, restore the phone and get in your car trying to make a phone call from CarPlay or car Bluetooth. The earphone wont disconnect until your phone call goes thru and you cant hear the person you’re calling and they can’t hear you either then you realize you need to disconnect the earphone manually. Imagine this happens on daily basis. This is not only annoying but also killing the battery fast. Because it basically connects to your phone 24 hrs. Whenever you play music or videos you hear your music or video comes out of the earphone case. That’s right, the earphone still plays voices when they are both in the case. Maybe it’s because of the “always on“ connection, the ear phone goes bad fast too. The left side earphone cannot connect anymore after around 5-6 months. When I sent warranty request thru Soundcore app it gave me a hard time too. It keeps loading pic of receipt and never sent out. After weeks of trying the warranty claim finally sent. But I never heard from soundcore even the app told me they will get back with me within 24 hrs.

I love these earbuds! Normal earbuds don’t fit my ears or they irritate so bad that I can’t wear them. These fit nicely around the cuff of my ear and I even forget I’m wearing them sometimes. The sound is good, battery life is excellent, and Bluetooth range is incredible. I work in a communal office space and can jam away without anyone else hearing what I’m listening to. I’ve also used them for taking phone calls and haven't had any complaints about clarity or background noise levels.

I have small ear canals so I was interested in these. The fit on the outside of the ear is great and they don't hurt my ear canals. The sound is pretty good too -- I definitely noticed some things in songs I've listened to a million times but didn't hear before on crappy earphones. HOWEVER -- they stopped working after 6 months of light use. The right earbud has gone completely kaput - no sound at all. In the app, it can only access the left earbud and so can't update the firmware or reset. I use them maybe 3 hours a week at most, and after 6 months that gives me less than 100 hours of usage. Which at the price I paid is close to $1 per hour of listening time. Definitely not cost-effective!! Amended to 3 stars. I submitted a warranty claim and I mailed back the broken set at their expense and got a brand new set in the mail a week later. I appreciate the good warranty support !

Love the C40i! The fact that I can hear my music, movies, or shows without the discomfort of having an earbud clogging my ears is amazing! They might be too comfortable. Sometimes I forget I have them on. Good thing they're water resistant. I've used all different types of ear buds and bone conduction headphones. I'd take these over all of them. I had the C30i before the C40i. I feel the sound quality is slightly better than the previous model. The functionality was definitely upgraded with the push function button instead of the touch function. I love that these are not noise cancelling ear buds, but they are pretty close. If I'm out on a walk, then I'll keep the volume slightly down so I can still hear my music but also the world around my like cars and stuff. But if I turn up the volume loud enough, I can hear next to nothing but what is coming out of the buds. If you're obsessed with bass and like the feeling of a subwoofer in your ear, these might not be for you. The C40i gives out enough bass to get the job done for me though.

Definitely use the app so you can adjust the sound properly. When i first used them the sound was very low & i almost returned them. Now i totally love them, i didn't really like having an earbud in my ear, now i can still hear my surroundings & feel safe when out & about. They are so lightweight i forget i'm wearing them!

Outstanding view and manufacturing quality. Nice charging box. Physical buttons works better than sensor. I have B&O, AirPods Pro, Shokz all mentioned above sounds better but it much costlier . Mic quality is better than B&O and AirPods Pro. Overall user experience is great I can wear it and hear everything around like using Shokz but these are more comfortable to use at home. I would definitely recommend it to buy for the price less $50! It produces some pressure to my ears but I was able to get used to this. Sound quality is expected for the price. I am fully satisfied with it but it one of the worst sounds I have ever heard. But i am comparing it to much more expensive products. So don’t think, just buy ;) It is good for sport activities and relaxing at the beach. Bluetooth connection is stable and long ranged. It has application to setup effects and reassign buttons.

Fantastic headset. Mainly use it for phone calls. Fit is very comfortable. Call and overall sound quality is excellent. Battery lasts for an entire day. Would have been great if the button was located more to the outside of the bud, but understandably an issue given that is where the bend is. Highly recommended overall.
