Fine 90 degrees. You can sit in a patrol car easily.

Q: Is there any reason why you couldn't add additional items (like an OC case) to this by just sliding it on to the nylon strap?

You can, but consider space and weight of your "loaded" shroud. I'd rather hook it up to my belt, which by the way must be a stiff one made just for this like the ones Safariland offers like the "Riggers Belt" by The Wilderness.com

Q: How long is the leg strap? Being a former powerlifter my legs are quite big still therefore I have issues with more droplegs.

I swear I should get paid a commission for this stuff. I'm a bit of a gym rat myself. My leg measures at 30 inches and it's got about maybe another 3 to go. At 30 inches it fits and feels fine. It's elastic so it will stretch and give a bit. So, if you're about this range you should be fine. If you have more specific questions let me know. I'll do my best to answer it.
