55 inch wingspan but is only about 25 inches long when folded up. I bought it for a kid who is 12. It's a great beginners kite and he was able to launch it and fly it with ease .

can you buy replacement parts for prism jazz kite

Yes . Some , very few, are sold here at Amazon. But there are a couple of online kite stores that sell replacement parts as well .

does the kite include string and straps.

Yes it does contain both, but the string stretched and broke after 2 hours. I got 80 lb braided fishing line and re-tied the lines with that and it's held up perfectly. The only catch with the fishing line it that it can sometimes be tough to unwind from the spool when getting set up, but it flies just fine.

Would this be able to handle a few hard landings?

I have had my kite for more than a year and I fly it frequently. It stands up well to hard landings. Corners are reinforced and fiberglass struts have little rubber tips to prevent tearing. I broke a strut and replaced it with a section I cut from a garage sale fishing rod. Works fine.
