Q: it looks very cool! but is it a sturdy plastic or flimsy one?

Pliable plastic. Luckily the plastic is pretty thick, so it'll take some time for it to warp. But it can be slightly flimsy if you apply pressure onto the tip. But with some modifications you can make it so it won't bend as much.

Q: can it be used on a 10 year old

not sure, bought it for my 18yr old son and he is 6'1. it fit him perfect so it would probably be to too big for a 10 yr old because his arm would be alot smaller right? anyway, my son loved his. he wore it with his halloween costume last year. hope this helped :)
