Anne Cole Women's Solid Twist Front Shirred Bandeau Tankini Swim Top

I have several of these tankinis in different colors. I bought the amethyst this time to match a Bleu by Rod Beattie swim skirt in Living Color. The color on the site is true to the color. I love the ruching/shirring in the front which camouflages your mid-section. I love the strapless look for no tan lines, but comes with straps for active swimming. Of course, being Anne Cole it's well made, so well worth full price at $60 but a steal if on sale. For reference, I am 5'6" 164 lbs, 40D bust and XL fits perfectly.

Good bandeau swim top. Doesn't come with bottoms, which is something to be aware of, but fine with me bc I have black bottoms and white bottoms. It has a line of plastic/rubber? at the top to keep things in place, and a wire on each side. No underwire of course, but a thick elastic strip, like some suits have, would've been nice. The cups are just about the right size for me (I'm 34B and ordered a medium). There's only one strap that just goes around your neck to make it a halter. I love halter strap suits for the tan lines I get, but I'd prefer if it had two non-adjustable straps that I could tie in the back. On this suit, the adjustable piece is in the front since there's one one strap, which looks a little weird in my opinion. And adjustable straps just make things bulky. I'd rather adjust with tying. Also, I don't think I like how bandeau tops look like they cut my boob in half (see side view for reference), or like they're being pinched instead of looking round. Probably half to do with bandeau tops and half to do with being a 40 yr old mom. So I'm on the fence with this top...

This style and manufacture are the BEST fitting and flattering bathing suit tops I’ve ever owned. I had purchased one last year and after wearing it for a month in Aruba this past January I decided to purchase two more in fear of wearing out the first one and their not making this style any longer. Definitely buy one for yourself.

I love bandeau tops when it comes to swimwear simply to avoid tan lines. I tried this brand and style in the store and ordered on Amazon. This top fit perfectly and goes well with a cute pair of black and white swim shorts I purchased at a store previously. I do feel like it gives good support and some tummy control. Like the length as well. I'm 5'6" about 150" and typically wear a 10 in a swimsuit. Ordered the medium in black.
