It's helped my hair and nails grow fast and thick.
This is wonderful. I mix this with Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Sprouted Brown Rice Protein Powder so it becomes a complete protein. I don't want to purchase a protein powder with sugar or sugar substitutes. This and the rice create a wonderful complete protein powder. Taste is a bit chalky but honestly I'm not taking it for the taste. I need more protein so this works for me. It's helped my hair and nails grow fast and thick.

Great product!
I liked this protein powder for smoothies and shakes. It blended really nicely and the earthiness was easy to cover with fruit flavors. I was not glumpy at all and had a great protein content!!

Excellent product, terrible plastic pouch
Of the pea protein powders I've tried so far, this one is far and away my favorite. I really like its texture and slightly-sweet natural flavor. But I took off one star for the lame plastic pouch it came in.The two-pound size comes in a cylindrical paperboard canister with metal bottom and top rim, and a plastic lid. Aside from the plastic lid, it's all biodegradable. The metal is totally recyclable if you want to separate it for scrap. The size, shape, and rigidity make the container easy to work with. All in all, pretty thoughtful packaging. However, this review is for the five-pound size, which unfortunately comes in a plastic pouch with several annoying characteristics:- The zip lock seal on the pouch does not work. At all. I really tried, and could not get it to close even partially. I finally gave up, rolled it down, and secured it with a bag clip.- There is a powdery coating on the outside of the bag that gives it a slightly gritty texture to the touch. No idea what that could be from, or if it's intentional.- There is a faint, perfumey, synthetic fragrance on the outside of the bag. Why is that necessary?- The pouch is not recyclable or biodegradable at all. The label refers to it as an "environmentally-friendly pouch", "made with Post-Consumer Recycled material as part of our commitment to sustainability." In my view, there's nothing sustainable about this. They just slowed down some plastic on it's way into a landfill or the ocean.- The pouch is messy to work with. Some powder always seems to spill or escape while it's being scooped out.I found the pouch so impractical that I dumped half its contents into the paperboard canister I still had from my 2-pound purchase. Next time I'll buy the 2-pound container, even though it costs a little more per pound. It appears the 1-pound size also comes in a plastic pouch.I hope Sprout Living will go to paperboard canisters for all their sizes. If they applied themselves, they could surely think of a way to do away with the metal and plastic components as well. Remember how oats used to come in a 100% paperboard canister? We have the technology for this...

No flavor or texture weirdness!
Finally! I bought the pumpkin seed protein powder. The non-dairy protein powder of my dreams. No flavor—really! And no weird graininess! It’s amazing. I love that it is one ingredient and no weird additives.

My new protein love...
I really really like this product and I have tried many "alternate" protein powder types and mixes. I finally settled on a different product that was ONLY pea protein, which I still use regularly, however, I wanted to alternate with some other non-dairy or non-soy-based protein shake powder. I also wanted ONLY the single ingredient type, no longer interested in mixes, meal replacers and shake bases, etc.I wasn't even aware that a product was being made with pumpkin seeds/pepitas, which I really like -- so I decided to give this brand a shot. I am very PLEASED with it. It's pricey, but I think when one wishes to buy something that is "clean" and unadulterated, it's important to understand that cheapness is going to be based on cutting corners and using lousy inputs. After tasting this product, it would be hard to convince me that the inputs in its formulation are anything other than very high quality.I can't really address the blend-ability of it because I tend not to use protein powders in smoothies, rather, I use it in other ways and one of my favorite ways is in my go-to organic coconut yogurt. I would not expect it to be much different from any other protein powder that does not include some form of silica (which is usually used in small amounts to make it more mixable.) So, if you have some experience with that type of powder, then I could confidently say that it's going to be the same for blending purposes. Ultimately, all of them can be blended if you follow a certain technique (which is not the subject of this review.)Lastly, I really enjoy the subtle hint of nutty sweetness! That pale pale green makes the yogurt look like a treat from an ice cream shop, and I don't even like ice cream, but I sure enjoy seeing it, as it makes me respond like a kid does.I liked the initial order of it so much that it's now in my monthly subscribe and save.

Misleading calorie content
I’m giving this 3 stars because of the misleading advertising. The photos provided show the product has 102 calories per serving, however, the product I received shows 140 calories per serving. I chose this protein powder because it’s vegan, simple ingredients, and due to its low calorie content. I’m counting calories but would like more protein and this is a bit excessive for only 20 grams of protein. The taste is palatable and the texture isn’t too bad. But be ware if you are calorie conscious like me , it’s actually 140 calories.
