Sensible Pet Supplements 'Calm'. Calming supplement for dogs and cats. Containing L-Tryptophan, L-Theanine and Valerian root extract. 50 sprinkle capsules.

Although the scent is very strong of valerian, my dog loves it when I sprinkle it on her meals. Although I still cannot leave her alone they have worked brilliantly at stopping her being afraid of thunderstorms, which she would dive under my bed and stay there. There was a thunderstorm the other night and she didn't flinch, just stayed asleep spread out on my bed instead. She has reduced the amount that she barks when the doorbell chimes also. I'm hopeful that they will help with bonfire night as I live opposite a park that has a fireworks display every year. I am subscribed to these and my dog has been taking them twice daily for a few months now and I am pleased with the reduction in her anxiety.

Just started these so can't say if they work or not. But, when I open the capsule to sprinkle onto my cats food... peeeuuu! I just hope it doesn't taste like it smells. 🤢

Our cat was highly stressed after relocation; peeing everywhere and with lots of blood in it - diagnosed as stress related and urinary tract irritation, tried various treatments and antibiotics and this was the one thing that made a huge difference, not sure which ingredient but the combination really worked and no more blood in urine now, seems much calmer and less nervous also

I have an elderly rescue cat that’s getting jumpier as he gets older, over licking and feeling agitated and upset. I’m already using a different brand of calming sprinkle tablets as recommended by my vet, but they’re slow to get going and are expensive, so when I saw these Sensible Pets Supplement brand in a tub of 50 sprinkle tablets I wanted to try them on my cat, especially as they contain natural Valerian root extract along with calcium, magnesium and vitamins B1, B3, B6, B9 and B12. They are a white powder that’s easily extracted from the tablet by parting it over the cats wet food. My issue with the powder is it doesn’t blend into the cats wet food, even with lots of mixing, it just won’t blend in, leaving lots of little white lumps in the food, (unlike my other calming powder tablets) so when presented with his food with the supplement in, he took one look and left the room. I think if you put the powder in the dish first then the wet food, perhaps disguising it will help. I can smell it too, so I’m sure my cat can too, and he’s not keen. I will try again, but when my cat isn’t quite so agitated. I’m sure if I can get him to take just one tablet a day he will be a happier kitty, it’s just getting him too is the hard part (as all cat owners will agree). So I’d like to ask Sensible Supplements if they would look at these sprinkle on tablets and see if they could be made with ingredients that blend into the food better please?Please see my photos, I hope my review is helpful to you, thank you for reading it.

Seem to work well. I’ve ordered another pot as the first is nearly empty. We have a rescue dog who tends to rip her bed up when she wakes up. These seem to have calmed her down and she’s just started to sleep all night.

Did not really do anything for us.
