Since there literally are no USB-C Devices yet, and you have hundreds of USB ones already at home this solves every problem with having the next gen of ports that can go 500GB a second but you need it to use a mouse at 56 kilobytes a second. I do not understand how this product isn't in the box to start with. Fits my MacBook Pro very well, and adds every single port I could ever need except for a serial cable. HDMI works well, SD cards perfectly, I didn't get to ethernet yet but I like that it has pop up port so device is thinner. For me this also nice that is one thing and do not need multi dongles that I would forget in different places. This being attached to computer and fits right in my laptop sleeve and all in one really is a great device. I will update once some longevity and use, but I realized right when I got home, hmmm I cant use any devices that arent wireless, I had a usb drive and was stuck in the mud, yeah I need something and was surprised to find a single device that covers everything.

Highly recommend. I've had entirely way too many dongles for my MacBook and after awhile it's such a pain to cart 4 of them back and forth to the office. The quality is great for the price and functionality! I cannot rave about this adapter enough, the freedom of only carrying one dongles with me is immeasurable.

the product works well, except when I ordered it I didn't realize it won't work if you have your laptop in a case (to protect it in case it gets dropped). Unfortunately, I carry my laptop around, so I need the case.Removing the bottom case is annoying. So I won't probably be using this too much, but I suppose it's nice to have if I'm needing a bunch of connections.

When you get a new MacBook Pro and the only ports you get is 4 USB-C’s, it’s very frustrating because in all honesty, no one I know enjoys having to have dongles and cables to different plug-ins. I decided that I would purchase this product because it seems as part of the MacBook design, and not too bulky. And boy was I right, this hub is amazing, it works fast and plugs in super easy, there wasn’t many good pictures of this product on here so I was spectical, but this hub has done wonders, saving room and the overall simplicity is great. The space grey matches perfectly with my 2018 space grey MacBook Pro. The only gripe I have is that it is not flush with the top of the computer while open, but overall it’s one of the best hubs you can get! I wouldn’t try using all ports at the same time or it may heat up!

This was a must have with the limited ports on the new Macbooks! Has every port you could want and 2 UBS ports which is a must for me. Screen resolution holds up nicely with mirroring to additional monitors as well. Perfect size for travel and doesn't seem to overheat after several hours use.

Overall, works reasonably well. No problems with Ethernet or USB to external SSD. However, when connected to wireless USB mouse the pointer get a little choppy and will sometimes jump across the screen. Moving my Logitech Unifying Receiver to a different USB port, not on the docking station, resolved the issue.

It comes with additional outlets so that I can charge my laptop, my phone, and my watch at the same time. I got this so I can import videos and photos from my DSLR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and way cheaper than Apple. Only issue is that it fits a little loosely (as in it doesn't snap it tight)

For what it has in being compact with some useful connections it lacks in being able to use if you have any kind of case on the base of your computer. My case is pretty minimal and it still wouldn't reach in enough to work.
