Great for mermaid lovers
My daughter (3 years old) very much enjoyed this. She loves mermaids. We did one picture a day and even though we ran out of sand because it we didn’t portion it out very well, she still loved coloring the other page.

Absolute mess
This is too challenging for a 5 year old. Even with my help. The glue takes a long time to dry so when you are trying to work on other areas the sequins just fall off. The sand is also poor quality, more the texture of large grain sugar. The bags are not resealable so I had to tape each bag closed. Just an overall mess.

Not as easy as it looks
Not as easy as it looks. The sand sticks in one spot and the sequins are so small, it’s hard for any kid under 5 to manage this, with adult help. Too bad they done send re sealing bags so you don’t have lose sand everywhere.

This game is suitable for 6+ kids instead of advertised 5-8. Too many pieces for 5 years old to handle. Too many pieces for 5 years old to handle.
