Love it
Works like a charm with sterno or twigs. Heats water to boiling pretty quickly. Perfect for soups and stews. Folds up small, is lightweight & packs nicely.

Solid stove stand, excellent value.
Excellent multi function stove stand. I was able to use this with an alcohol stove, solid fuel tabs in an empty sardine can, and sterno.

Impressive for Size / Great Price Point
The media could not be loaded. I was impressed with the Sterno Foldable Stove. Its design, compact transport, assembly and ease of use is well done. In my testing of this stove, I used a fuel source of 70% alcohol, and it did well. I did place a 12 oz can of water on it and the water heated up after about 8-9 minutes (but with some wind). At this price point, you cannot go wrong with this compact stove. I highly recommend this stove.

Perfect little stove for back packing or camping!
Great little emergency or camping stove. Folds up small, but works well. It can be used with any size sterno type wicked fuel canister.

Great little stove
works great with a can of chafing fuel of your choice ( I like Canned Heat ) We use these to heat up soups and other food when the power goes out . Don't expect it to boil water like a Jet boil or other pocket rocket gas stoves but you can easily cook on these as the chafing fuel provides a medium heat and wider flam which is good for cooking . You can set a double boiler on and even melt chocolate and cheese for fondue .

Versatile, good value
I bought my first Sterno stove years ago, as a Boy Scout. I found it lightweight yet sturdy, and very affordable. They haven't really changed, except that the wire parts are a lighter gauge and the top grate is no longer chrome plated. For the price, that is fine with me. I'm pretty sure they cost about the same 30 years ago. It's actually a little lighter because of it, which is a plus as I'm taking it canoe camping. The beauty of this design is you can use it with Sterno or (I would imagine) other canned fuels, or you can build a little fire in it with sticks. The design acts as its own windscreen, so no need to pack a stove AND a windscreen. It's also sturdy enough to hold a pot of food big enough for 2 people.

Lightweight and portable
I wanted this for the ability to pack in my hiking backpack without adding a ton of weight or bulk. This fit the criteria perfectly. I had to read the directions because I almost folded it the wrong way when trying to set it up. However, it's easy to use and works perfectly with the sterno cans. I would definitely use this for reheating food or heating up some water. I wouldn't try cooking raw meat though. This helps to retain the heat of the stereo but it's not going to be as hot as building a wood fire pit. It's not the most durable but I expected that. I wanted lightweight and this is exactly what I was looking for.

Won’t boil water but handy for warming food.
I bought this because I have used sterno in the past for chafing dishes and a s’mores making kit and it’s easy to use. My daughter and I will be doing some camping with her Girl Scout troop and I opted for this over a pocket rocket because I’m kind of a scaredy cat, haha. Thank goodness I tried it out. It’s pretty sturdy and easy to put together. Like other reviewers said it does seem a bit greasy on the outside. Mine didn’t have any food particles or anything and the packaging was new. I think there’s a coating on the metal that feels like that. I got the green sterno cooking fuel 4 pack on Amazon too. We lit it and used 20 oz. of tap water in our Stanley camping cook pot (also ordered from Amazon). We lit it at 6:10. By 6:47 it was still not to a rolling boil and I’d used over 1/2 a can of sterno so I gave up. It was steaming, there were some tiny bubbles coming up too. But it was not a full boil. I did give it 3 stars because I still think it will still come in handy. For one, if the power goes out we can warm food easily. I will probably not take this camping as we need all the space and the least amount of weight possible. I thought it’d be good because it folds flat and is light but still needing the sterno cans and the cooking pot I think the pocket rocket will be more effective. We will be using a water filter but if you needed to boil water this is not a good choice.
