I needed a frame for a 14x14 inch canvas and there weren’t a lot of options so I ordered this and it far exceeded my expectations and hopes! It is solidly made and nicely finished (black). Shipping was fast all the way from Latvia and it was so well packaged I wouldn't hesitate to order a different frame with glass if this company offered it. Clear instructions for attaching the frame to the canvas. A hanging kit included your choice of hangers and cord or simple sawtooth hanger to hammer into the frame (I used cord). The outside dimensions are 15x15 inches and the interior is about 14.5” square to allow the canvas to float. But if you have something slightly larger or thicker it gives you wiggle room to use the stated dimensions. The only tricky thing was to keep the floating canvas aligned when I flipped it over (ended up tacking in a couple of places with double stick tape on back edge of canvas). Very easy and looks nice. I was framing something a now-adult child painted in their teens and I didn’t want to splash out for custom but this polishes the artwork and maybe the grown child won’t be embarrassed that I think it’s worth displaying! ;-)

This came packaged very well. It's your standard floating frame. The measurements were perfect. The color is a solid black. Very light weight and easily adheres to the wall with Command wall stickers. I didn't you the included hardware for hanging. It a sturdy, good quality frame, I think the value is there for my money. Will definitely buy again as needed.

Doesn't feel the most high quality of sturdy and the price feels a bit steep but better than most other places. Fit frame perfectly. If you measure correctly and drill it should go a lot faster. I position the canvas in the frame. Mark the holes on the canvas by putting a pencil through the hole in the frame and the pre drill to ensure the wood doesn't split. Looks great!

it was cheaply made, with visible staples in the front on the cornes. All the pictures of the product were from the backside, so you wouldn't know it until you receive the produce, which also had a crack in it. i advise don't but any frame unless you can see a picture of the product from the front.

First, may I say that if you are looking for an 18x18 floating frame, it is my opinion that you will be hard-pressed to find one as that is not a common size. At least that was my experience. I finally found this one and gave it a try. It is a well-made frame constructed of some type of composite that looks really nice.The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the fact that hanging it wasn't as simple as I thought it would be. First, may I say that I have plenty of experience with home projects more difficult than hanging a picture so it's not that I don't know what to do with tools. It comes with hardware but without instructions. It's just not "intuitive" and I think it may be a bit difficult for some folks to do.I wound up not using the hardware that was provided, at least the portion that was intended to attach the wrapped canvas to the frame. Instead, I drilled a pilot hole (I think this would be important to do so that you do not split the frame) and then used a 7/8 inch screw - a wood screw is preferable - to drill through the frame and into the brackets of the wrapped canvas. Please note that a 3/4 inch screw will not be long enough to go through the frame and catch hold and a 1 inch screw, I thought, may possibly go through to the front of the frame. I would stick with the 7/8". I think anyone can use the string and screws provided for the hanging mechanism although I didn't use that either as I had some very nice "alligator" hangers that worked just fine.That is the only drawback I can see. The frame looks very nice now that it's up. I should also mention that it was packed so well that it looked professionally done. Overall, a good buy and a nice looking frame.

Very nice frame and well built, well packaged.Since this is a floating frame the canvas will float in the middle leaving a little moat space between the frame and the canvas. However, because the front of the frame is not exactly flush with the front of the canvas, mine was not, you will have to raise your canvas to attach the frame. I used identically sized 1/2” books, placing them under the canvas to elevate it enough to take up the difference between the picture frame and canvas. Once I got the back of the canvas centered where I liked it, I hand tightened the screws. They easily went into the canvas frame. I did not see predrilled holes in the picture frame for the hanging hardware though. I decided to place that hardware in the canvas frame itself. I think the picture will hang better with it there anyway.The picture frame is solidly built and reinforced with metal corner pieces. I think my canvas looks pretty good in it. I’d buy from this company again.Remember if your canvas is not as deep as the frame you’ll need to raise it up so the lip of the frame clears the canvas in order to attach.

I was finally able to mount my daughter’s art, and it looks amazing. Size is exactly as described, the color is gorgeous, the screws provided made it so easy to mount and hang. It’s perfect and I’ll be buying many more!

I bought 2 of these flimsy plastic frames and both broke just removing them from their packaging. The corners held together by multiple stapes simply break apart at the slightest movement of the frames. It is downright criminal that anyone can sell such junk. Amazon - shame on you!

When you lay the 2' thick canvas the back part of the frame sits too high and it makes the canvas 1/2 inch above the level of the canvas, this makes the floater effect lost. If you push the canvas to level with the frame it is impossible to use the hooks as they do not reach to be able to fasten. I had to use only the outside part of the frame and glue it to the canvas. Not worth the $200 if is not going to fit properly. The quality of the wood was good and the packaging, but the fit is not ccorrect.
