Unfortunately did not work for me
I have an HP laptop with docking station that has 2 displayports. Purchased two new Lenovo monitors and connected displayport cable and monitor would not work right, screen kept flickering and turning on and off. Tested on another computer and monitor and cable worked fine. HDMI input was also working on monitor, so I purchased this cable and another from Answin. This cable did not work, but the Answin one did.

Failed after 6 months
It worked for the first 6 months (had a stationary laptop hooked up to an external monitor). The cable just stopped working after 6 months. I'd understand if it was older and/or it was constantly being unplugged/plugged. Even had my IT department replace my laptop thinking the displayport had failed, but it ended up being the cable.

Does Not Work
This cable did not work. I tried it on two different computers and two monitors: each time, the monitor failed to acknowledge any connection. Multiple attempts to update display settings confirmed that the cable simply failed to provide a signal. Very disappointing.

Stopped working after 6 months
After 6 months it started having connection issues. The connection between my computer and the TV started going in and out occasionally and after another month it is practically unusable as the connection issue has worsened significantly.

I plugged them in and it worked! 15 months later it didn’t.
Plug and play operation. Good length of cable for corner desk dual monitor set up.HDMI cables that came with LG monitors were not long enough. These worked out great.If you rate the quality of the cables with soft touch plastics, your going to be disappointed. These are hard plastic connectors and cabling. HDMI connectors have solid connection into HDMI ports on monitor and computer.Have not experienced “white noise” on the screen or any incompatibility issues.Update after 15mos:- started experiencing intermittent white noise a few weeks ago- monitor started blanking in and out. Was not connection. Corrected with a different cable, all is good again- disappointed we only got 13mos use
