1st class machine
My first printer that I ordered went missing in the post however the 2nd time I ordered, after a refund, it arrived promptly next day in a nice, well protected/packaged box. Lots of foam and a couple zip ties inside the actual printer itself to stop any damage during shipping.A short while later, less than an hour, It was on its way printing the included Owl Pair test piece that was provided on the SD card. The unpacking guide and actual printer set up video that you can find on YouTube proved very helpful for someone, like myself, who has no experience with 3D printers and was very easy to understand. As was the included colour manual. After printing the test piece, all I could say was wow. It was like magic having a pair of owls just appear out of no where. This then spurred me on to go to Thingiverse and download some other little objects/things and let the printer get on with them. Needless to say, I was amazed yet again with the quality and the “magic” as it were of having an object just appear out of thin air.A few days later I decided to try my hand at 3D design on tinkercad. I designed and printed a little desk organiser, a mouse bungee and a SD card holder. Yet again I was blown away by the quality of the printer. It’s true what other hobbyists say, this is really addictive. I must also say as-well, anycubic’s PLA filament is really good too. I’ve bought 3 rolls of the stuff and I’ve yet to run into any trouble yet. Same goes for their TPU filament too, which I might add the 4Max Pro handles really well having printed two phone cases for my parents with great resultsI’m conclusion I can only give this printer a 5/5. It’s a good looking, fully enclosed, quiet printer which in my opinion has amazing print quality if you take the time to make sure the bed is fully levelled and that your slicer settings are all in order. I can’t fault the printer at all as the only issue I had was amazon’s/the couriers fault. If you’re looking for a great first 3d printer, this is the one.PS, I will post pictures soon

Does what it says on the box
The media could not be loaded. This printer replaced a cheap flat packed printer and the difference was great. Unpacking the printer was just like in the video, then the setup was fairly easy for me. To test the printer we printed the pair of owls from the memory card that came with the printer, the first attempt failed and with the extruder adjustment knob, we started the print again. Using the default settings and the free filament, the quality of the first print was good and with fine tuning the print quality was improved further. Bed leveling was easy to do and the ultrabase build plate removes the need for the old methods of keeping your prints stuck down while printing. So far we have tried PLA, PETG and TPU, with only an occasional jam caused by the extruder adjustment either being too tight or too loose.Pro'sThe printer is quiet, you sometimes hear a fan quietly running. The bed leveling doesn't need checking with every print, since you take the models off the ultrabase easily once you have let it cool down for the models to simply be loose.Warm up time is not long.Spare nozzles and hotend included, with tools.Con'sThe extruder is harder to get your hands to at times, the bed home position is at the top. Most of the time you have to work from above. The filament sensor only works when printing from the SD card. The only negative thing was amazon lost the first printer and wouldn't replace the printer, only refund the cost.Anycubic's support was quick and helpful.I would recommend this printer to friends.

Very easy to use ... good quality prints
There was a bit of a bumpy start because the screen was delivered cracked. However, once the replacement was fitted it was easy to set up and I have had good quality, reliable prints in PLA since then. The test owls supplied with the printer were great first time and I had good success with several models downloaded from Thingiverse.com (both technical gears and flexi models). The test pieces that I have created all have worked well and the Cura slicing software was easy to set up for this printer. I was also impressed with the customer service in the way that AnyCubic dealt with my initial problem. They seem to genuinely care about customer feedback and satisfaction. It's not the lowest cost printer available but the full enclosure makes it quiet and safe and the bed adhesion and release system seems to work really well.

A great first 3D printer
I have had the anycubic now for a little over 8 weeks and whilst the first few days were a bit fraught, once set up it has performed fantastic. as with most printers you need to do some work out of the box, but nothing major, you will need to attach the filament out sensor (2 screws and a plug in job) as well as remove the copious amounts o packing and restrain material, then level the bed, and you are good to go, the small manual is surprising good for this covering the initial set up, to first print as well as including some more advanced setting up like changing the start and stop g-code segments as well as adjusting the bed height sensor, over all with the tools supplied and a couple of hours getting thing dialed in you will have a great 3 D printer capable of doing lot of stuff, on the negative side the included software (cura) was way out of date, and you are better off downloading the current version to start with.for a first time owner this is a fantastic, simple and very versatile printer.
