X-ACTO X2020 Designer Series Circle Cutter

I use this to cut wheel masks for mostly 1/35 scale models. Just stick a piece of masking tape to your cutting board. Set the tool and then cut out as many masks as you need. A lot easier than taping the wheel and cutting away the excess with an xacto knife.

I really liked this when I received it, and looked forward to it working as well as things X-acto makes do work. It seems to be soundly made.I had a problem with it, though. I just couldn't get it to work well. Maybe you need to be stronger than I am or something. It was slipping off the center and then of course that would mess up the circle.It does seem to be well made, and if you practice with it and have a strong, steady grip, it may be exactly right. As for me, I think I'm going to use a regular compass and cut out the drawn circle with a different tool. I looked and looked for just the right circle cutter for me, and just didn't find quite the one I wanted.

It’s alright, the blades are sharp and it works reasonably well, but it does have a tendency to flex when in use,

Works like expected. I used it a a cheap alternative to cut a port into my bass drum head.

I was deeply disappointed that an X-Acto branded item was completely unable to cut cleaning through fairly thin paper. Also I found the compass like design made it impossible to secure the center post in a stable position. I would not recommend this product.

Need a circle cutter for cutting those pesky circular gaskets... this works great! I use this for cutting small circular silicon gaskets for special uses... so much less expensive than a pricey gasket cutter!

I have been making cards for five years now and this is the first tool I have had that absolutely doesn't work. I trust the X-acto brand, but this tool falls short. I was not even able to get it to cut. I simply could not apply enough pressure to the blade while attempting to hold the center steady.
